Great value card, easy plug and play. Solid performance.
This card gave me closer to what I believe my internet speeds should have been. Breeze to install, Windows 10 automatically downloaded drivers and instructed me to restart. Upon restart the card was up and running. I have an ASUS Z77 Deluxe motherboard, which came with a wireless N card installed. I installed the card and confirmed the wireless network. I discovered with both network cards running my speed went to 96.18 Mbps from 86.56 Mbps. I have confirmed the ASUS PCE-AC55BT B1 works on the AC band with my NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 (24x8) DOCSIS 3.0 WiFi Cable Modem Router Combo. With the motherboard card off the speeds are still improved at 94.81 Mbps, which is negligible. The ping also decreased accordingly with the ASUS card and with both switched on from 47 ms to 37 ms with the card alone, and 26 ms with both cards switched on. I can tell the internet browsing speeds have slightly improved. Videos buffer more quickly and my online connected games load more quickly as well, with less lag in online play. Great value card from ASUS. I might also add that my Mobo bluetooth was always spotty and this card's bluetooth works like a charm. Very satisfied.

Plug and Play! Fast speeds, great performance for gaming, fairly easy to install!
As of December 7 when I installed and booted up the computer I built for the first time, this part worked from the start. Windows often will install drivers for parts from some sort of database. While the drivers will typically be out of date, it still worked out of the box. For those wondering, the hardware is actually a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260, according to my device manager. So if it's sourced from Intel, you know it is meant to be quality.I've had the chance to game on this card. I've been playing several intense shooter games and it works amazingly. I've noticed nothing out of the ordinary. My ping is great. The speeds are what we pay for straight from Comcast.Note how I said it was fairly easy to install. The card itself was simple. Just slot it into a PCI Express 1x slot and you're good. One issue I did have was plugging in the Bluetooth portion of the card into a USB header on my motherboard. It just was kind of hard to plug in a little because I couldn't really grip it. That's just me though. Not a huge issue. I do love that it has bluetooth connectivity. I wish some of those "higher end" PCIe wifi cards came with it. It's unfortunate that they don't.Overall, I'm impressed and satisfied with this product from ASUS. Well worth the money. Great value and great performance.

Works ! Easy plug n play
Works great so far!My motherboard didn’t come with WiFi not even Bluetooth, so for a while I used LAN cable to connect to a WiFi extender that sucked (cause it was old) also it was annoying carrying that extra piece anywhere I wanted to take my pc and have internet. As you can see from photo (TOP is BRFORE) I had pretty bad speeds, and streaming was out of the possibility. As you can see now (BOTTOM is AFTER) the speed differences are huge and it is much improved. Bluetooth works great so far.My only complaint would be that the instructions are useless , don’t install the software CD.If you use Windows 10 it’s literally Plug n Play , just be sure to add the USB for bluetooth but it plugs into 2.0 on mobo , the card itself has a usb 3.0 insert but 2.0 cable , really weird and confused me at first thought it went on usb3.0 on mobo but seeing as the instructions are windows 7ish I doubted it.The wires also feel a little cheap(antenna wires feel like those 5$ headphones you buy at deli)For the price though can’t complain, it does what it supposed to.Will update review if necessary.

Works well and fast, once I got the right driver installed
Maybe it's because it was a new build, but this was definitely having problems at first. It was recognized and drivers were installed by Windows 10 and at first it seemed to be working, it saw my wifi and I was able to connect. I usually bypass the included drivers disc and attempted to download the latest drivers from the ASUS website, but that's when it started having issues. At first it would lose the connection, but then it would come back. Then it would lose the connection, come back, and cause Windows to crash. Then it would cause the screen to freeze while the audio made this stuttering "jg jg jg jg jg jg jg" sound, forcing me to shut the pc down.I decided to try the drivers disc and it installed but it was still doing the same thing. I then downloaded the drivers from the ASUS website on another computer to a flash drive and installed them that way. That seemed to fix it...but no. While it wasn't crashing anymore at least, it was still dropping the connection every few minutes. Finally I went into the device manager, found the AC1200 network interface and decided to try updating the drivers from there, fully expecting it to come back and say "the best driver is already installed", and it found and installed a driver. That finally fixed the problem and it's been working normally since, but it's still a hassle to go through.I didn't have any issues using the Bluetooth and it's a nice plus to have. My phone saw it and had no problems connecting and sending a picture to the pc. My only complaint, that doesn't actually matter, is the antenna cable is only about 2 feet long. This may limit where it can be put, but so far it's kept a consistent strong wifi signal even though it's further than the old one. So far it's been working well and noticeably faster than the old one we had.
