Very nice
I thought this vegan Camembert was very nice. I heated it in the oven to get it hot and slightly melting, then I spread it onto a good quality toast. The combination worked and the result was very good, not a strong cheese flavour, I would say more creamy/slightly eggy, but I enjoyed it very much and will buy again.

Absolutely awful
This is not an alternative to camembert at all. It is something that is made to look like camembert, but the taste and texture is nothing like. I don't know why anyone would purchase this who has once tasted it - it is absolutely horrendous. Feels like clay and tastes like soap. Only purchased because of visiting vegans, but never, ever again!

Such a bitter taste
I'm truly sad to say this, but it tastes awful. Admittedly, I haven't eaten cheese in years, and when I did, I preferred brie. Perhaps that's the reason. However, this was so bitter that I couldn't swallow it. It's not for me.

Lovely cheese
Remember Camembert cheese is a floral, fragrant cheese, so if that's not your preference you will not like this. It's a lovely vegan cheese, the outer shell is firm and floral in taste while the inside is soft and creamy. Before I went vegan many years ago I tried camembert dairy cheese and hated it, so I was thinking I'd hate this too, but I love it!

Tastes like the real thing
Lasts forever in the fridge and tastes great together with peach jelly on crispy bread.

I personally didn't like the overwhelming after taste with this product and wanted to love it but back to original until I find another.
