Great Little LapTop
My old laptop was slow and on its last legs. Ironically also a Lenovo. I was hesitant to get another one, but after doing my research, and knowing what I needed a laptop for, this one came up multiple times on multiple lists. My husband agreed it was time for a new one and I decided to go with this one.I am thrilled that I did. It starts up super-fast compared to my old one and shuts down very quickly. While it doesn't have a backlit keyboard, that isn't a dealbreaker for me. The keys are responsive, and the keyboard is comfortable. The touchscreen is great and easy to use. I haven't had much need to use it yet, but I can see where it will be beneficial. I love the fact that I can convert the laptop, and it is easily portable. I bought a case to carry it around in that is fantastic and it fits great in. For avoiding scratches (since I have a dog) I did purchase a snap on case that is my favorite color purple and I can add stickers to. (links to both below)I have had zero issues with my laptop since getting it and I would gladly buy it again. Since I plan on using it for pictures and there is no SD card reader, I made sure to purchase an external SD card reader with a USB connection. (last product link)If you're looking for a budget laptop, this is definitely one to consider.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PK4RTXV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RC88H2Z?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P1T8R46?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Great value for the price!
Great 2 in 1 for the price! Perfect for your everyday use! Screen Quality is pretty good! Perfect for what I need to do. No dvd drive but for that price for a 2 in 1, no problem! Love it!

A good value
I'm an amateur musician and I noticed that a number of my colleagues were using large format iPads for their sheet music, so I looked into it and found that the large iPads were quite expensive, so I decided to see if I could find a cheaper alternative. I found a refurbished unit of this IdeaPad for $219 (thru Amazon), so I purchased it and a Lenovo touchpad stylus (an additional $30). For my purposes, I was looking for a unit with an HD screen, a touchpad, and the ability to convert to a tablet (so it can sit on a music stand). This IdeaPad only has 4GB of RAM, but that is plenty for my purposes. It only has a 128GB M.2 drive (which, again, is plenty for my purposes), but it can be upgraded by the user to a generic 1TB M.2 drive for $50. For my project, I wiped the Windows 11 installation in favor of xubuntu 22. It installs easily once the secure boot feature is disabled in the BIOS.As for fitness of purpose, I just got this IdeaPad, so I don't know how well it will work as a sheet music alternative. I still need to modify some GPL'd PDF display software ("xournal" seems to be the best candidate I've seen so far) for ease of use during a 2.5 hour rehearsal. Also, preliminary tests seem to indicate that the battery probably won't last for a full rehearsal with the display being driven full-time.I knocked a star off the touchscreen for its non-intuitive behavior -- the screen starts to respond when one moves the stylus within about 3mm. This has led to some stray marks in my early tests. I knocked off 2 stars from the battery life because of its performance under load. This may be because I purchased a refurbished unit, so take it with a grain of salt.

It's easy to work with and I'm glad I purchased it.
After 5 hours I have to plug it back up but that's not a problem. Works well.

Updated review
The price for a 2 in 1 was hard to beat. The battery life isn't that great but besides that it works just fine.UPDATED: Had to co.e back here to update this review.. unfortunately after about two months of using it, the hinges were already worn out despite overusing them or opening/closing hard. I couldn't even open it without my screen almost breaking. Fixed it myself temporarily but now I can't open it up completely to use as a tablet because I had to put in screws to hold it together.. looked up the issue with the hinges and apparently it's a common issue with this brand as they are cheaply made. Very upsetting.. wouldn't have bought it knowing this information
