I recently moved to a house surrounded by trees and lake. I never thought I would need mosquito control in my home. This is a great chemical free way of dealing with them. I let it run 24/7 indoor. Simple design with good effect!. Great product, highly recommend!

I live in rural Oregon. I live nearby woods. It gets really dark at night, which is the perfect for using the bug zapper since it requires a dark and closed environment. Mosquitoes are different regionally. In some places this might work better, in others not so much. I am pleased with the fact that it works very well for my needs, excellent..

My neighbor raved about this, but I already had a great bug zapper. That one is super powerful and makes a big pop sound when it kills them. I wanted something I could run through the night that was whisper quiet. I was pretty skeptical but after a few days I went to empty it out. Tons and tons of mosquitos! So many. Great companion to the big ones!

I bought 2 it worked great the bad thing is that it only worked for a year so I guess you have to buy one every year.

I am sure my review will be hidden because it is only one star. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We left ours out all night and not one, NOT ONE BUG, was in the trap. Our other lamp was zapping like crazy and this one sat there like a third wheel at a makeout session. My zap lamp was less expensive and did more. This lamp, well, lets just say it would rather be on a free ticket then have to earn it's worth. The light isn't bright enough to attract bugs. The fan isn't strong enough to suck them down. This thing, literally, is just a decorative blue light lamp and nothing more.

It does kill mosquitoes.I suggest you buy some insecticides,the effect is more significant.

I bought this because my apartment has a lot of mosquitos. I had tried pretty much a lot of products to get rid of mosquitos that I could find online, but eventually decided to try this bug trap. The mosquito trap works great. The UV light attracts the mosquitoes and then they get sucked into the trap from the fan. Once they're in, they get stuck on the sticky paper. After two weeks of having this in my apartment, you can see from the picture of the mosquitos that got trapped. I am very happy with this purchase.

It came in smaller and much lighter than I thought. It's made with plastic so I am a little worried about its durability but so far its been good. I use it indoors only. And it works only when you have all room lights shut and only this mosquito killer lamp on. Which is understandable, according to mosquitos phototaxis. I would say it's probably good for a 500 cu ft closed space.There's a fan inside the unit so there is some noise when running, not too loud though. The bottom part is easy to detach and clean. It is well designed for safety use unless you poke your finger into those narrow cracks intentionally.
