If you use it with some caution it won't hurt you. I can feel when my skin has had enough, and if you pay attention to when it starts to feel sensitive, that's when you stop.

is the foot file tool offered elsewhere? Everybody is raving about it. Apparently there used to be a combo w the file & the cream.

I did not get the foot file tool, just the foot cream. The cream has a peppermint smell but it is very faint.
