I recently bought the OXO potato masher, and it’s absolutely fantastic! The ergonomic handle makes mashing potatoes so comfortable and easy on the hands. Nice size (not too large), nice price, easy to clean, comfortable, sturdy, curved edges make using in pan quite easy. Works ok for refried beans, depending on the size of the bean; pinto ok, black bean not ok. Tines are 10mm apart near center, 11mm at edge.

I have meant to buy one of these for quite a while. Oxo is a brand that I have bought from previously, and I generally like their price and quality, so I decided to buy this from them. Since I bought it a few months ago, I have used it at least a dozen times. I have found it easy to use, and easy to clean. It also produces good results. Therefore, only know, I considered a good purchase.

Great rugged masher that does not mar non stick pot finish

Works great. Make sure potatoes are soft. That is with any masher.
