Can i charge this by mains electricity. We are having a 4 hour power outage next week?

Yes - by using a USB adaptor plug, or plug into a USB socket on your computer whilst you still have power. You can also (a) put three AA batteries into the section at the back (b) stand it in the sun so that the charge can be topped up by the solar pannel or (c) turn the handle for about five minutes! Four hour power outages are just what this radio is designed to cope with!

Will this work abroad?

YES! It is an FM (VHF) and AM ("Medium Wave") but don't expect to receive and digital stations.

Can i use a usb c charger to charge my samsung?

The image indicates that it is charged via a micro-usb lead, not a type C.
