It works fast
As an older red head my skin is fragile so it was important to find the right stuff. Here's what I found about Cosalic. When you first open the jar, it looks like slightly granular Vaseline, feels like it too. It feels greasy for about an hour, beware touching silks. My skin is shiney, lmao. After 3 applications I noticed my psoriasis was not bleeding anymore and I could run my hand over it, without getting scratched. Overall, the greasy feeling is preferable to the scaly bleeding sores that I had before. I also used this on my heals, worked great there too. The scent is not flowery pretty but not gross either, kind of like Vaseline.

Good product
The media could not be loaded. I got a huge discount on this probably because the expiration date was very near. I got 6 big 16.2oz jars for $7 a piece. The combination of coal tar and salicylic acid is the best cure for me, it seems. I’m combining Cutar, this one and CompoundW for the most stubborn patches and I’m about a month I got my full body cleared. I’m not a total fan of Cosalic’s consistency and smell, but decent and bearable, even though because of high paraffin content my skin is feeling a bit sticky.

Works well
This cream works very well. It has not eliminated the issue, but has lessened the severity.

Works amazingly well
My husband had a horrible psoriasis flare up especially on his scalp. He has hard moderate to severe psoriasis for many years and has even been hospitalized a couple times for treatment. His scalp was thick, hard and scaly and I’m in awe of how well this blankety blank worked. It is very thick and can be hard to rinse out but it’s worth it. We mixed some with his selsun blue to thin it out and sort of shampoo it in his hair. For the next several days, the scales would just fall off or slide off with little to no effort and his head is like 95 percent cleared with just the first use a week ago. It worked amazingly well! Would love a body wash type product also.

Look closer!!!
The instructions say "keep cap always closed." There is not a cap... look at the picture. Just an aluminum or tin foil cover with a plastic cover underneath. If this works, I'll give a better review, but I'm very disappointed with the packaging.

Bad skin reaction
The first day I used the next morning I found scales every where and it was not from my psoriasis. I tried it one more night and the same thing happened. The whole area where I put it is full of dry skin.

Psoriasis ointment
Doesn't work at all and stays greedy on your skin all day long

Surprisingly has helped multiple issues
I had spots of what I first thought may be the start of acne but then seemed to be more consistent with psoriasis on my face, this turned it around in 2 days. Also due to my job and the conditions I work in, I had very very severe chaffing/irritation between the cheeks (not the ones on your face) to the point it was extremely painful and bleeding, plus almost rash like) I randomly decided to try this as a last ditch effort after trying powders and cortisone creams, and within three days everything had completely turned around and healed up. It doesn’t smell great, kind of like diesel fuel, and it’ll leave a waxy film for quite a while, but whatever it is seems to work more ways than one.
