Blue Mountain Jamaican Curry Powder Hot -22oz by Blue Mountain

I was told by many folks this was the curry to use for Jamaican Curry Chicken so I tried it and I think they were right!! I’ve tried other curry seasonings and this hands down is the most flavorful! Now you still gotta know how to cook 🤣🤣 but I let my chicken marinate with it and a few other seasonings for at least 3 hours before I cook it and that absolutely makes a difference in the taste!

I dont' feel like hunting for this in smaller Caribbean and Spanish stores; and it's not available in conventional stores. So, I'm willing to pay more for it to be shipped even though the price is ridiculously inflated. I'm born and raised to a Guyanese household and this is the only curry powder that I'm willing to use; others that I've tasted are inferior or even bitter. Perfect taste and gives perfect color to the curry.

This is a nice standard curry powder and a decent price for the quantity. It's not super hot, just a little hotter than regular curry powder from what I've noticed.

Surprise, surprise... This allowed me to make a fantastic curry chicken for my boyfriend for the first time. It turned out so well despite the fact that I just seasoned the chicken with it which I took to his place and forgot to bring the rest of the curry bottle with me... The stew still came out very flavorful and tasty!! So happy I got this one!
