the sku is simply an 8 digit unique to each item a business assigns to each product for the purpose of inventory. It stands for Stock Keeping Unit. No other product uses this number. Think of it like a ssn. Nordic Ware makes ONLY ONE Miro-go-round so there shouldn't be a need for this number to identify it when you are talking to perhaps the seller. This product is unique just on it's own. If someone is asking for this number from you they are playing you for some reason. You simply don't need it. But, it would be on the box. Who keeps the box? This is basically the only one of it's kind in the known universe. I've had mine for years and just now had to get my second one.

Q: How fast is it supposed to rotate or how long will it take it to completely rotate one turn? Trying to determine how fast or slow it rotates?

I timed it ... Two minutes for one rotation, and you can wind it up to somewhere between 15 and 16 rotations. It is really slow.

Q: Can I use this plate on top of a non-spinning microwave plate, part of a micro/wall oven combo)?

Yes, that is what we did, we put it on top of the non working glass tray, otherwise it would not sit flat in the microwave. It does move quite a bit slower than the original spinning tray. The Go-Round is weight activated once you "wind it up". Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for your interest. It takes 20 full turns to completely wind. It turns only when weight is placed on it, so it will not have to be wound with every use.
