Wonderful Tripod for the Weight Conscious
I saw one of these in a store and thought the price must have been mis-marked; no way could there be a Benro CF tripod that inexpensive! I didn't buy it then, but later purchased through Amazon and I could not be happier.I've used a full size Benro for a few years and love it, but wanted something smaller for travel as airlines seem to get more difficult each day with weight and size. Like other Benro models, the build quality is outstanding, and all the mechanisms work with smoothness and precision. The ball head is great for photography and allows quick and accurate positioning of the camera (but other head choices would be better for video). I've found that I much prefer the circular leg clamps used by Benro over lever clamps used on some manufacturers - you can unlock all three clamps on a leg with one hand and one quick motion. The tripod folds compactly and fits nicely inside a carryon or I can strap it onto the side of my small camera day pack. Although I really like my full size Benro, I imagine it will end up staying in the closet and I'll take this little one instead for occasional excursions. The best tripod is the one that you have with you, and this travel model is much more likely to be at hand.Overall, it's a well built, low weight, compact tripod perfect for those who travel or want something light but don't want to give up the build quality and operation of a much more expensive model.

Light and stable. So far, so good!
So far, so good! I purchased this for use with my Sony A7iii in advance of a trip to Europe. So far it has done everything that I needed it to and then some. I know some people were worried about stabiity issues but I have seen nothing of the sort(granted I haven't had it out in high winds...but if that was the case I'd just make the legs wider) To date, I've used it on grass, sand, a sidewalk, and a hardwood floor. One such use was on a hill but keeping the camera level is no problem with the arca swiss ball head which includes a small level bubble. This tripod is LIGHT and solid. Usually when I buy stuff that's light, it feels flimsy. That's not the case here. The carbon fiber legs feel strong and look great wit hthe pattern.tldr:Pros:StableStrongSuper light weightFast and setupLooks greatCons:Could use a few more leg with optionsBe careful and have a firm grip on your camera when you loosen the quick plate.

Lightweight travel tripod
A nice lightweight tripod. Appears well built and tolerated some mild rain abuse so far. It was shaky in wind with legs fully extended and I would have enjoyed a larger ball head, but it seems sturdy enough for the lighter weight frame. I have learned that when shopping a new to me product like this, getting my hands on it first will be key. It’s gonna be great for travel to places without weather, but I’ll need a sturdier model too. Fast shipping and delivery. Product was as billed, I just wasn’t as fully informed as I needed to be.

Great Tripod, Head could be better, No Spiked Feet
I purchased this tripod before going to New Zealand on holiday. It was amazing, extremely lightweight and easy to set up. It also comes with a great carrying bag.Now for the downside. The head only has one adjustment knob, so to unlock rotation you also unlock your ball. Benro was nice enough t place a degree of rotation mark on the base of the head, but I don't see the point as when you unlock the head your ball will rotate as well. Unfortunately it doesn't end there. the rotation isn't smooth at all, so this tripod isn't for anyone that needs a smooth sweep motion. At least without a new head.I purchased a carbon fiber tripod to be light weight, but that comes at a premium. a premium that doesn't include replaceable or spiked feet. It has rubber feet that seem to be glued in. I didn't want to pull to hard to test that theory as I was afraid I'd ruin my new tripod, which over years of use with rubber feet will get ruined anyway. With that being said, This tripod does have its uses, armature hobbyist would be the best description at to whom this would be a good tripod for. Fortunately for me, I currently fall into that realm so its the best for me!

Best tripod for packing in luggage/gear
First - I'm blown away by the 1 & 2-star reviews. This tripod is carbon fiber, built by one of the best gear companies, and at a price tag under $140. I'm not sure what people are expecting, but this is a "travel tripod" intended for light use.Second - It's light as a feather but still holds my Canon 5D MK IV with battery pack and medium-sized lens without issue. The ball head is small but locks down tight at any angle, even upside down.Lastly - This isn't my goto primary tripod for studio our heavy outside use in demanding conditions. But I'll use it to pack when I'm traveling because it has a small diameter and removing the ball head free's up even more space. The legs are thin but strong enough that they're not flexing under the weight of a full size DSLR camera.

Disappointed
I like the light weight and the Arca style mount. That's all.The legs don't operate smoothly. One leg got so bound up I had to remove the plastic sleeve on the inner leg so that I could even move it. The ball head itself is terrible. There is NO way to pan side to side. Loosening the head enough to pan and the ball is loose and the camera flops over.

Love it.
This is by far the best tripod purchase for any camera. It’s easy to carry with my camera bag. It is smooth to utilize. The ability to lock my camera, phone or any other product is amazing. Perfect length for photos and has a good versatility for angled photos.
