My 2001 Honda Civic's "CHECK ENGINE" light went on, at the same time, my speedometer dropped from50mph to 0. In checking the Check Engine code, I was told it was the SPEED SENSOR that needed to bereplaced. I purchased one from a Car Parts Store, and took my car to the mechanic. Only to be told thatthe part I paid for WAS NOT THE RIGHT PART. So I had to return it to the Car Parts Store. My enginelight was still on, and my speedometer was not working correctly, going from 0 to the speed I wasdriving at. So I still needed to get the CORRECT part for my car. I have had my vehicle informationon Amazon, so I looked into getting the part through Amazon, using my vehicle informaion.I GOT THE PART FROM AMAZON, WITH THE NOTATION THAT IT WAS THE CORRECT PART AND THATIT FIT MY VEHICLE. It was correct, and I just got back from having it installed. Not only did I get thecorrect part from AMAZON, but I saved about $50.00 when compared to the price from the parts store.
