Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for LG V30 Case (2017) - Black

I just got this case and it's very well made and clicked snuggly right onto the phone. There is no slack or bunched up rubber anywhere and it grips the phone very well. I am giving it 5 stars because of how well it's made for the style, but for me personally, I prefer to have something like an otter box defender case to protect against falls and screen cracks so I might not use this one forever. This case is great for anyone who wants to maintain the slim aspect because it is very sleek and it also protects the back (cameras and body), sides, and front edge of the screens from scratches. The sound buttons also work as well as I'd hope through the case and the cutouts for all the outer parts of the phone are well cut and smooth. One last note is that it doesn't provide as much grip as I expected, maybe on rougher surfaces, but on a smooth hardwood table it slides with little to no resistance.

This is an exceptional case. The finish is great - the carbon fiber is a very nice touch and, importantly, the cutouts are perfect for the phone ports and interface. Qi wireless charging is unimpeded.I have to say, I loathe the bulky transformers style ultra protective cases, and I was worried that even this would stray too far in that direction. But it is waaaay more classy and understated than the pictures imply. Adds very little bulk to the phone abd doesn't draw attention, and yet is clearly going to offer a good amount of added protectionThe side edges are not raised by design. This sacrifices some screen shielding in favor of ensuring you can still easily interface with the phone edges (e.g., side swipes). Good tradeoff IMO, but not fir everyone

These are great cases. Everything you want in a protective mobile phone case. Great fit, drop protection, and aesthetics. It's a slim case that thinks it's an otter box. Seriously, put a good tempered glass screen cover on with this case and it will take a surprisingly large amount of abuse. I have dropped my device off of big rig trucks, on to asphalt and concrete from 5-10 ft up(accidentally, of course) and my phone didn't have a single scratch or crack. I have purchased these cases for my last 3 phones(LG V10, V20, and V30) and they provide superior protection at a surprisingly low price!

Really good protection for phone. Thin and sleek, looks good in a professional setting, and it protected my phone in a drop without even a scratch on the case. I am a clumsy phone dropper that used to have big ugly cases. This case seems to dona very good job, and thin enough to keep on for wireless charging. Stiff enough not to pull away from phone edges. As some reviewers have stated, it does not rise above the side edges of the phone, but thankfully this has not been an issue for me by causing screen damage by drops. Phones these days are getting thinner, and so are the cases. My phone with case slides easily into my to-go wallet without adding much bulk.

Very Slim and fitting case. Not much bigger then the Phone itself. Easy to put on and take off. Made the purchase so I could have a case on my phone when using my phone with DJI Products like the Oslo Mobile 2. Wish it had a better grip on the case as the case is very smooth. Would buy from this company again. Not the most rugged case but seems like it would give basic protection.

So I waited until I have had this case for awhile to write a review.First off, it is a beautiful case in it's own right. The smooth black finish, coupled with the carbon fiber accents, give it a very appealing look. It fits my LG V30 perfectly and while some complained about the cutouts not lining up properly, I didn't get this issue with mine.There are some things to know, although not really "cons". It has a smooth finish. Smooth to the point that it WILL slip out of your hand if you let it. It does not grip surfaces very well. I have dropped it several times already.The protection seems good enough, but I feel like the case doesn't rise high enough on the edges of the screen. If you drop your phone screen first; there is a good chance it will crack.Over all, I am very happy with it. Great case, I've had Spigen cases before but never the rugged armor series. But this case is excellent, it adds a bit of grip as the phone feels pretty slick without a case. It adds minimal bulk but I also feel comfortable using it and not having to worry about drops where the phone doesn't land on the screen. The case is very well made, fits the phone great and seems to be of very high quality, all things I have come to expect from Spigen and are the reasons why I recommend their cases.

The case is overall very good and light. The texture is non-slippery, and has a very high friction surface.The case allows for easy wireless charging on V30. My only major concern is that on the screen side,the surface of the phone glass is nearly even with the cover. If you happen to drop this face first intodesk edge I could see that damage could possibly occur. I wish that side edge could have been littlehigher than the surface of V30. Yes, if the case is raised a bit, that would make the holding comfortlittle bit less, however, I think I would trade better face-plant protection against little more ease ofholding the phone. Overall good case, but protection factor is little less than I wish it could provide.

I've had this case for my LG V30 for about one full year. It's been to several countries and continents with me over that period of time. It has performed perfectly. Fits extremely well. The rocker buttons for the volume up and down work as well as on the day I got it. The opening and slightly bevelled opening for the fingerprint scanner is a pleasure to use. No problem plugging in usb cable or headphones. The lip around the front is slightly raised enough so that the screen glass does not come into contact with the surface if you lie it face down. I'm getting another phone in a week (OnePlus) and I'm definitely going to get the same case for that phone. Hopefully it'll fit and function just as well. I had tried the heavier one from Spigen for the V30 (I forget the name, but it's easily found on Amazon, and I found it just too much (too thick and inflexible). Bottom line: A+ Spigen. Well done.

Soy fiel a esta marca. Le he tenido en varios terminales y es la que mejor se ajusta y mejor protege.

Wie von Spitzen gewohnte sehr gute Passform, gute Rutschfestigkeit. Stoßfestigkeit hat sich bei diesem Modell bereits bei diversen Smartphones bei mir bewährt. Liegt gut in der Hand, keine Nähte der Gussform zu spüren. Aussparungen rund um USB-C Port und Klinkenanschluss großzügig gewählt und auch für breite Anschlusskabel gut geeignet. Kameras auch optimal geschützt. Rückseite ist eben somit liegt das Smartphone grade und ohne zu kippeln auf dem Tisch. Hülle macht Smartphone kaum dicker. Durch die Edges des Displays überhöht die Hülle das Display nur an den Kopfenden, dadurch ist der Schutz nicht ganz so gut wie bei einem flachen Screen. Hülle für den Preis sehr empfehlenswert.

Excellent produit. Cette coque n'altère pas le design du V30, la finesse s'en trouve préservée ainsi que le look général. Le toucher Soft Touch est très agréable, la qualité se fait sentir. Cette coque arrive à bien protéger le smartphone sans pour cela remonter exagérément sur les bords, de sorte que l'on peut mettre une protection d'écran sans que cela gêne. Très satisfait.
