I picked up a used Gretsch G5120T from a friend for cheap as it was abused. Part of the abuse had the output jack broken away from the wood it was mounted to. So I needed a good solution.These jack plates are absolutely perfect. The cream color was spot on with what I needed and they’re pre-shaped to match the curvature of the side of a hollowbody guitar. So I used my Dremel to shave away the splintered wood, and carve out a larger hole for a jack to pass through. I used this jack plate over the carving to hide it. Now it’s perfect.For those curious about the size of the hole, both plates in my pack of two fit Imperial sized jacks. Meaning, PureTone and Switchcraft easily fit with no forcing required.

I bought these after the output jack plate of my Gibson Les Paul Classic 2015 broke into pieces. This was a perfect replacement in terms of size, colour, shape. Practically identical even down to the manufacturing marks on the back. Hopefully, I'll never need to replace it again, but if I do, there's a spare because this was a two-pack!
