I absolutely hate "incentivized" reviews -- reviews by people who receive a discount or free product in return for their "unbiased" opinion. As we all know, these reviews are anything but unbiased (in fact, a statistical analysis done by ReviewMeta recently demonstrated that these incentivized reviews are *significantly* more positive than a typical Amazon review -- so sellers are indeed buying fraudulent positive ratings by giving folks free stuff).When I first stumbled upon this switch, the first thing I noticed is that 95% of the reviews were incentivized. And that made me very, very wary. But given Amazon's lenient return policy, the specs documented in the listing, and the remarkably low price... I went for it. I bought the switch [at full price and of my own free will].And this product 100% delivered. This is a 5-port HDMI switch that supports 4K video and -- crucially -- HDCP 2.2 / HDMI 2.0a. This switch will allow you to multiplex a single 4K HDCP 2.2 input with multiple 4K devices -- without breaking the HDCP 2.2 chain. In other words: it actually works for 4K content. No annoying DRM errors. No problem hooking up a roku 4 or a PS4 or an XBone or whatever.While I can't vouch for the quality or longevity of the product... it feels pretty substantial, and has worked nicely for the week I've had it. It's also a good $20 less than other HDCP 2.2-enabled equipment on Amazon right now.Frankly, it's a 5 star product given its price. Easily.The only reason I'm dinging a star is because of the incentivized reviews. It's a sleazy practice that hurts the Amazon community as a whole. Seller: please ditch the incentivized reviews going forward -- your product is good. Let it speak for itself.

Nope. Going back. All I can say is that with all of the positive reviews, these must be hit and miss. My device does not work at all. My Apple TV which runs at 1080P would not play reliably. Every 30 seconds, the screen kept going black for about 1-3 seconds. My 4K Tivo had picture, but no audio, etc. I tried swapping other cables, no help. Simply did not work. Stay away from this one.Note: Is it possible that I just got a defective one, yes. Would I try again? Nope. I instead purchased: "Expert Connect 5x1 HDMI Switch | 5 Port | 5 in - 1 out | Ultra HD 4K/2K @ 60Hz (60 fps), HDR | HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 | Full HD/3D | 1080P | DTS | Dolby Digital | Direct TV | 18 Gbps Bandwidth" and it worked perfectly with all devices on the first try.I'm not affiliated with either of these two brands, I just got a new 4K tv and needed an HDMI switch. Because I don't want to spend over $100 on a switch at FRYS, I really was pulling my hair out trying to find a good switch at a low price point. This switch did not deliver. The other one did. That simple. I hope this helps.

Be warned: this product does not have a warranty, no matter what the description says. I bought this product in November and it worked perfectly with my PS4 Pro, Xbox One S, TiVo, and Wii U. I got true 4K pass through, @60hz, and it was a charm. In late January, not even two months after initial set up, the device began to fail, and three of the five ports stopped working. The unit also randomly interrupts the signal on the two ports that do work, and I get a black screen for 10-15 seconds. My return window here at Amazon ended on January 31st. I tried to contact VeLLBox through their website, as Amazon suggested, and the email (the only way to contact them) keeps getting bounced back as undeliverable. Now I'm stuck with a broken unit and no way to replace it. Know that by purchasing this, you are gambling on a unit that could very well break and you will be out of luck.

Very small but does the trick. It enables you to five more devices via HDMI to your tv when you run out of slots. The remote control comes in handy if you need to switch inputs. It can also detect when an item has been turned on and will switch over to that input automatically. It is constructed of metal and is very durable. It has 2 led lights, red for power and a green one which move to which ever slot is being used at the time. I find the lights a bit on the bright side but you get used to them.

This item is a gem - delivers 4k content as promised (Roku 4, PC, Dish Hopper DVR).The unit looks nicer (less "industrial) than the picture makes it appear.It's very sturdily built and deceptively small.Would be better still if there was some way to mount it to a cabinet wall.I initially bought  Zettaguard 4K x 2K 4 Port 4 x 1 HDMI Switch with PIP and IR Wireless Remote Control, HDMI Switcher Hub Port Switches (ZW410)  but it did not successfully deliver the 4k content. I returned it and bought the VeLLBox instead. Now very happy.

Vellbox switcher was defective but the people there were helpful and gave me a refund I'm happy about probably just got a bad unit not their fault I would buy products again from them in the future

The item is high quality with metallic casing and works as advertised. I have my PS4 Pro, Samsung 4k blueray player, AppleTV, and still have 2 more ports to spare. All connections are working as they should, especially the PS4 Pro graphics settings! My Samsung 4k TV only had one HDMI port that could support 4k HDR and this switch expanded that capability. Mission accomplished!

Updated Review:Originally gave this a lower rating, but discovered the problem was my cable box's fault.This is built well and is actually hdmi 2.0 which is a MUST HAVE if you have a 4k output. Would highly recommend. Only minor con is that you need to turn it off when you aren't using it, but that's not that big of an issue.

Ok HDMI switcher. No rubber feet under the metal case. Remote was not working at all. I tried with another working battery CR2025 I have and it did not work. I wanted to add this HDMI switch to my harmony remote, but it was not in the Logitech harmony device's database, so I had to add from a working remote. I was about to return this device as without a working remote this is useless when I decided to smash hard the remote on the table. Finally I got it working and could add it to my harmony remote. What a cheap quality remote.Pros:-5 HDMI in for 1 TV output-Metal caseCons:- No rubber feet. Can scratch surface- Very cheap and poorly made remote control- ExpensiveUpdate: 1 more star now that I have been using this switch for more than a month and did not have any problem with the switch itself. Always selected the good hdmi without any picture glitch.
