Q: Do i have to assemble went it is delivered

This is only the cover for the crate. There is no assembly required for the cover.

Q: Does this item come with pad

The pad is not included, this is just for the crate cover.

Q: My crate measurements state 28x42x30 , that 42 is throwing me off. I see no covers that accomaodate that width. Will the 30" crate cover work??

The Midwest 42" crate is 42"L x 28"W x 30"H.... is the crate you have a Midwest crate? If so, it is the 42" long crate, as we do not make a 42" wide crate. The crate cover that fits the Midwest 42" crate is the CVR42.

Q: does the 30" fit the midwest homes 30" crate?

It should. I have the 30 inch amazon basics crate and it fits! I’m sure the dimensions are the same for both crates.
