This champagne stopper is amazing! It's very easy to use as it is similar to other champagne stoppers, in that it has "wings" that you fold down over the top of the champagne bottle, but the difference is the pump on the top of the stopper. After you fix the stopper on your bottle, you pump the pump until you feel resistance and that's it. Honestly, this stopper will hold the bubbles in your champagne. So nice to be able to enjoy just a glass or two of champagne and then go back to it on another day and have it be fresh and bubbly! My only caution is to be careful when removing the stopper (just like you would when popping the cork when you first open it) because this stopper really holds in the pressure. If you over-pump it, the stopper could come flying off from the pressure in the bottle. These fantastic stoppers will make excellent gifts for champagne lovers!

Read some of the reviews and did some research. Tried regular stopper. It kept getting pushed out of top by built up pressure, and it got flat in about three days. Through research, found out that sparkling wine actually has improved tasted when it interacts with air (carbonation pulls out bitter particles in wine). Sparkling wine without carbonation is just sweeter wine... No crime there. I was ready for flat/subpar sparkling wines based off mixed reviews of this product and so I didn't have much hope when the top arrived a day after I'd opened a bottle of prosecco and the regular topper continued to fail to hold up against the pressure. I half-heartedly stopped it up and pumpedin some pressure. Then, I "forgot" (translation: gave up on) the bottle for five additional days. Husband insisted we try it. We poured, and the wine was still fizzing... Vigorously!!! It tasted great, and it was still fizzy a week later. I finished that bottle!!! This stopper works!! Holds up against the pressure build up and oxidation actually improves sparkling wines (unlike regular wines). Buy it. You don't need anything fancier for storing for a week or so.

First, in general, I'll say this product works great. It keeps Champagne and other sparkling wines sparkling for much longer than other products I've tried. The only issue we're had is that with the design of certain bottles it can be a bit challenging to get properly fastened. We've had it pop out in the fridge a couple of times, particularly with one brand of sparkling wine and their bottle design. Since that has happened we pay more attention when using it with that bottle and it doesn't happen any more, but it does take a little bit of work.Overall, a product that does what it says, and just requires a little work on the part of the user to make sure it is properly inserted.

This one works perfectly. My wife and I enjoy an occasional bottle of Mumms or Pipers. We almost always have half a bottle left, and I've never found a stopper that keeps the champagne bubbly and fresh-tasting. This one did. We used the MiTBA stopper on a half bottle of Pipers on March 28, just before we left for a two-week vacation. The instructions included in the package were clear, although the bottle clamps were somewhat difficult to engage. I quickly found that maintaining downward pressure on the stopper while engaging the clamps made them seat perfectly. I then worked the pump on the stopper until I felt slight resistance, and put the bottle into our refrigerator. We returned April 14 and preoccupation with other things kept me from testing the champagne until April 28. Again, applying downward pressure on the stopper, I disengaged the clamps but nothing happened. However, gently working the stopper somewhat loose resulted in a satisfying whoosh, which told me that pressure had been maintained. The champagne was still as bubbly and delicious as it had been when we first uncorked the bottle. I am entirely satisfied with this product and recommend it highly.

This worked great for me. Mind you, I wasn't trying to store opened champagne for a week or more, so I haven't put it to that kind of test. I did store a half bottle of lovely prosecco over two nights and was delighted with the strong "Pop!" upon opening, with even a bit of condensation fog, a full head of bubbles in the second half of the bottle, and no detectable change in quality. Clear instructions are included, but I guess the company is concerned about people not using this incorrectly, because they sent me an email before my order even arrived that included the full instructions, and the reassurance that despite some glitch on their Amazon page they DO offer easy returns if you are not satisfied. They also included a direct email address to contact them if I had any problem using the item, a nice proactive bit of service that I didn't need. One thing I noticed; there was no instruction on how to remove the pressurized stopper to get at your lovely leftovers. Well, after the double instructions I was nervous enough to look up a YouTube video showing how to use this, and removal couldn't be easier: Just slip the edges of the metal side clips out from under the lip of the bottle and Pop! You're good to go.

Superb customer service. Our product arrived and after the first use the product broke. Emailed the company and within 24 hours received a response and advised that another one was on its way.Tamara was our contact and she kept updating on when we would receive the product and wanted to make sure that the replacement was in working order. It has been a long time since we have received customer service with this much attention on our enjoyment and satisfaction.As for the product itself, it does exactly what it is supposed to. Our Prosecco remained bubbly and when we opened the bottle again, it had that same “pop”, like we just took out the cork. The stopper does not leak, as we stored the half full bottle on its side. Also has an indicator on the top, so you will know what day the bottle was opened.If you want a product backed with excellent customer service, but this!

Top fell off. Wish it lasted longer. Really keeps champagne fresh.

I got this because my mother who loves sparkling wine was having a tough time with the old awkward 3 piece pump style, this one, although the metal is sharp, she can clip it on and pump it easily and with the help of a prying instrument like a metal spoon on butter knife can safely pry the wings up, providing she covers it with a towel so it doesn't fly across the room. Very simple and compact.Only thing I'd improve is the ability to release the pressure before removing, so it's easier and safer to remove.

Only had this for 2 months and it has stopped working. I'm now outside the returns window.

This stopper is undeniably a must have item for nay champagne or Prosecco lover! It fits most bottles, keeps bubbles inside and never comes off
