Life saver and game changer
I used this in my Compaq pocket pc with an 8gb card and it worked perfectly, now I can store my schedule in excel without having to worry about the batteries dying and loosing all my saved data. A life saver and a game changer. Yes this does work with larger capacities, I’m just stuck with 8gb because of the limitations of my system

Neat Find for Inveterate Tinkerers
While sane people will snort derisively at the idea of still using, in mid-2022, a 2008 hp 530 notebook for anything, let alone a reliable secondary system, those like-mindedly deranged tinkerers who enjoy pushing old hardware to its last nth of capability will appreciate this PCMCIA adapter. It allows me, in Matroska-doll fashion, to insert a micro-SD into its SD carrier, the carrier into the CF adapter, insert that into the PC Card Adapter, and plug the four nested devices into the PCMCIA slot on the hp 530 so I can mess around with, e.g., different boot images for my Raspberry Pi 4B. The original spinning rust HD has been upgraded to a 1TB SSD, the 2GB RAM to 4GB, and the Core 2 Duo T5200 Socket M CPU to a T7600, and of course the wretched Windows OS to Fedora Linux 35. Linux instantly recognized the adapter without action on my part, and it works very well.
