Haven't actually hiked yet with these fixed to my pack, but they fitted on easily and securely. Material looks very durable and tough and they come with a great selection of fasteners. They're also surprisingly deep and a one litre bottle fits almost entirely with only the cap exposed at the top, so no danger of bottles falling out. Not wide enough to hold my 32 oz nalgene bottle, but that's not a dealbreaker.

Extremely happy with quality and amazing price. It does fit a 1L and 1.5L glass beverage container. However I use it as a drumstick storage for my drum set. Its about 1/2 the price than purchasing a drumstick holder.I know most people will purchase this as a beverage holder. So I will have to say that the quality is very solid. However, if you drink out of GLASS containers as opposed to PLASTIC, keep in mind the bottom is made of MESH, which does not offer significant padding for a glass container. If you are at home/office, this might be sufficient, but if you are hiking/traveling, the padding may not be enough and your glass container might shatter if you are not careful.I purchased the version with the plastic carabiners. They are thick and seem to be of good quality, but they are plastic.... their lifespan might not be long if you are rough with them. Im not sure I'd trust them if you are RUNNING with a 1.5L glass container filled with water. However, if you use the straps with the snap buttons, additional to the carabiner, this will probably be good enough.If you use plastic water bottles, this is probably more than strong enough to run around with.The plastic carabiner can always be replaced with a metal one. You can definitely trust the canvas, and the stitching. It seems very sturdy

The description of this item is accurate, the only problem I've found is the snaps which snap onto your belt if you choose to, are loose, meaning the snaps easily unsnap. It fits my 40 ounce water container perfectly.

I know it's a water bottle holder first but it's large and deep enough I use it a lot for holding quick grab items like my phone, wallet, and keys. Even my Nintendo Switch fits in it completely.It might be the best addition to my bag setups I've ever made. Great quality product.
