Shape not suited to low dpi players
I tried to like this mouse as it does many things well. The weight is low, the sensor is a 3310, one of the best, the buttons have the best feel of any mouse I've tried. However the stumbling block was the shape and coating. It has that satin style coating that feels very luxurious but is not very grippy. However the biggest draw back was the sloping sides. The sides slope inwards from the bottom. I game at only 400dpi and need to lift the mouse regularly and reposition it. This is the worst possible shape for that- it made it virtually unplayable for me - it kept slipping out of my grip. What a pity. With flat sides or even a bit of a lip to help lifting this could have been a contender. The only other downside was a fairly high lift off distance of about 2 CDs but that is not really a deal breaker. However this shape could still suit a high dpi player who doesn't need to lift the mouse oftenHope this helps

A top quality mouse but needs to take cues from Logitech on packaging
I bought this mouse to replace my logitech G600, as I had recently started playing overwatch and required a lighter mouse with less frills to improve my gameplay. The Flick G1 came in a visually pleasing box, very little with it other than the mouse and some basic instructions, although it is a plug and play mouse with software downloadable from the fnatic gear website. My main issue with the packaging is that the cable came tightly coiled with a twist tie holding it together, which causes the cable to become tangled and bent. This can easily be avoided if using packaging like Logitech do, where the cable is looped in wide arcs around the underside packaging of the mouse.Once out the box and plugged in though, the mouse has 3 DPI levels, changeable with the circular button above the scroll wheel. You can clearly see which level is used thanks to 3 unobtrusive LED lights just above the side buttons, plus the lights on the scroll wheel will change if you have changed the settings, that is after you download the fnatic software.Fortunately, unlike the Logitech software, once the mouse has been set up how you like it, you don't need to run the fnatic software ever again, which is one less task drawing on memory and cpu power. In day to day tasks like web browsing, the mouse operates as any other optical mouse will, with no acceleration or input lag, just smooth scrolling and clicking. In gameplay however, this mouse really does flex its muscles. This is thanks to the incredibly light weight of the unit, it is very easy to pick up and re position on a mouse pad quickly, the left and right mouse buttons are light, but not razer deathadder light, they have enough resistance to withstand misclicks, but have enough give to improve your reactions compared to a generic or lesser designed mouse. The side buttons are very satisfying to use, they may be a little too light and can be clicked occasionally by accident when being picked up, but they respond well and feel very good to use.The scroll wheel as well has a nice number of intervals in it, it lacks the infinite scroll that mice like the Logitech G502 have, and doesn't have side to side movement, but those would have added weight and reduced the efficiency of the mouse. When using this in overwatch, I've noticed that I can react faster than with my G600 thanks to the light weight and improved main buttons, and it has helped me in matches where a heavier mouse would have left me dead, instead of making sure I at least go out with a bang.Overall, I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone who wants a lightweight FPS centric mouse, especially as there is none of the sensor lift off issues that were reported on earlier models, at least not with mine.

Great Shape, poor implementation
Excellent delivery from Amazon as usual.Sadly as for the mouse, I have had nothing but issues with it since I installed it. The shape is good, mouse wheel good, buttons good, but the sensor appears to spin out I am using 14cm per 360 sensitivity, so middle of the range. The mouse ceases to move in some circumstances involving fast movement, the movement starts then simply stops mid turn.As for the "driver and software" , mouse is not recognised in windows 7 (default HID device ), the software refuses to "communicate" with the mouse, if i reinstall the software multiple times I can get 1 out 5 success to change some settings. I assume the DPI switcher is supposed to switch DPI within a profile (which has 3 tiers of sensitivity), however the DPI switch simply changes the profile, meaning I have had to change 3 profiles in order to change sensitivity on the fly ....All in all the mouse has a great shape, but poorly implemented driver and software (plus I am unsure if the sensor is good as I cannot test it due to software not functioning)

Good entry gaming mouse.
Honestly, The mouse is of a better quality than I had expected. The mouse is super responsive and with the Fnatic software I can configure the dps settings to what is needed. I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend and she has been super happy with it, the only downside to it so far is that the material of the cable is very rigid, so sometimes it might take a bit more movement to move the cursor in game. The LED's are very subtle and the level of brightness can also be adjusted so overall it's well worth the promotional price

Great mouse for a great price.
By far the best mouse i've ever purchased. Previous mouse was a Roccat Lua and had so many problems with it so purchased this. The Pixart 3310 sensor just blows my old mouse out of the window, it's amazing. Highly recommend - and that's coming from an average/casual gamer perspective. Use it to play FPS & MMO games and the programmable side buttons help greatly in both. Huge fan of Fnatic team so more than happy to support their products.

I bought 2, both stopped working. Im angry
I bought 2. The mouse had stopped on me twice without reason. First time It worked perfectly fine for 2 weeks. I tried to send it back and get refunded but just missed the return date so took a gamble and rebought it hoping it was a production fault on that particular one. Same thing just happened again but a bit later than the first time. The mouse just seizes to work without warning nor reason. Not happy at all.

Faulty?
As previously mentioned the lift-off distance can be better and the braided cable can snag slightly on a mouse pad but feels very nice and has excellent tracking. The rgb is also very vivid and accurate, although the software doesn't work in linux using wine, unfortunately.UPDATE: I dual booted to windows and profiles 1 and 2 work fine, but profile 3 does not work no matter what the settings are. after switching to profile 3 the mouse freezes and after 15 or so seconds turns off (crashes?). Might replace or get different mouse
