These blocks have strong, clear colours and a lovely aroma of beeswax. They are rectangles of a size and shape which suit small or adult hands, enabling broad swathes of hue or fine lines drawn with the edges. They blend satisfyingly and can be used in a variety of contexts according to the ability of the user. I advise close supervision of very young children, however, as they are very appealing in appearance and smell, but rather expensive as a snack.

I bought these crayons a little apprehensively because of the price but they are wonderful and well worth it for a treat. I have found that other crayons have to be pressed very hard to produce any strength of colour, are dry and often contain streaks of other colours. These are beautifully clear and strong and because of the shape can produce broad sweeps of colour.

Brilliant, the grandkids love these. Perfect for little hands.

I am a huge stockmar crayons fan, and have been buying them for 13 years since my first child was a toddler. They are very soft on the paper and perfect for little hands. The colours are gentle or vibrant depending on pressure and they last for ages.

These are lovely crayons and my children create beautifully colourful pictures with them.I didn't give it five stars because when the crayons arrived the were slightly chipped from postage. I'd still buy them again though.

Yes they are expensive but when a Waldorf teacher told me she had a set for over 10 years, I thought they must be good. They are amazing quality and you won't have to buy any others. Beautiful and great in the tin for storage. Totally recommend.

Love them. Only crayons a toddler will need. Bright beautiful colours. Lots falls off from which is annoying. Money saving in the long run.
