I am really pleased with the performance of this eye mask, which I bought following an appointment with my optician who recommended I purchase one as my eyes are becoming very dry. The eye mask itself is exceptionally well made with high quality soft materials and an adjustable elastic strap to hold it in place over the eyes. Inside, it is filled with grain and when you put it on (after only 30 seconds in the microwave) it even smells very pleasant and relaxes me further. The eye mask holds its heat for a long period of time and has already increased the tear film and made my eyes much less dry. This is a superb, high quality product and within a few days has vastly lessened the problems that I was having with dryness.

...which were delivered! I quickly unwrapped, put it in microwave for 30 secs then flew upstairs to put this on as soon as it arrived. I suffer with dry eyes after having laser eye surgery 3 years ago and every night I need to use lubricant before I can sleep (sometimes waking in the night to add more). I also use dry eye spray during the day as they can become so irritated and blur my vision if left without it. The product fits perfectly and has a comfortable velcro strap on the back to fit to head. My sight was blurred for roughly 10 minutes after having this on but the guide does say this is normal to happen (and anyone who uses a hot compress etc usually will be used to this). Brilliant product-really pleased and definitely recommend.

This eye mask does as it says - it's easy to heat up and is very comfortable to wear. Once heated, it lasts for about 7/8 minutes.Unfortunately, it hasn't helped my particular problem. I have a chelazion and I'm probably going to resort to having it surgically removed. It's definitely worth trying though & I do think the mask will help if you have sore eyes.

This mask was recommended by an optometrist. I had been using eye wipes and prescription eye drops regularly but still struggled with the sore eyes and blurred vision caused by blepharitis. A new optometrist suggested I try a heat mask followed by eyelid massage, then the eye wipes. This mask is a third of the price charged by high street opticians. However, it has quite literally been an eye-opener!! I can't believe the difference this mask has made to my eyes. It's a shame that I wasn't told about this two years ago when the symptoms first started. It does cure blepharitis but it does reduce my symptoms and hugely increase my comfort. I would recommend it to any fellow sufferers, it's worth it's weight in gold!

Not been using this for long but is helping with my blocked glands.So have now been using on and off for a few months and sadly no longer heats up at all - bearing in mind I’ve not used it all that much I’m not too impressed with how long it’s lasted

I've used this every day since receiving it (early to mid April) and haven't had any problems - it fits securely and heats evenly. I had to increase the time I heat it for from 30 seconds to 40 after a couple of weeks as I noticed it wasn't getting as warm as it initially did, but if you do this be really careful not to overheat the mask - your eyes are delicate! The instructions are easy to follow and include care advice (for your eyes and the mask!)It does seem to do the job nicely. I was recommended a heated eye mask by my optician to treat blepharitis, but I also get chalazions and have had a minor one for a while - at the moment it's become more prominent but I am hoping this is the eye starting to get rid of the cyst due to the heat treatment softening everything so I'm not concerned. I won't be able to confirm if it's helped the former issue until I have another eye test so I can't advise on the effectiveness of the mask on that.It's the first time I've used something like this so I can't compare it to other eye masks, but it's certainly way better than hot water and a flannel! Your vision may be blurry for a little while after due to the oil secretions which the heat makes more fluid, but this clears after a while - I tend to use this as I go to sleep and my vision is fine when I wake up.

Speedy service. Well made product which is very relaxing to use. It doesn't hold its heat for very long but it says not to use it for more than 8-10 minutes. The strap is not necessary - no-one is going to walk around with this strapped to their eyes! I don't know if it will prove to be effective, only time will tell.
