Victorian day at my boys schools, and it was just what I needed. Reasonable price and fit him well (average size 11 year old)

Product arrived in good time and well packaged. The actual costume itself is not quite as good as I’d hoped however I had read other reviews so it was expected. The trousers and shirt are of the thinnest material I have ever seen and is very rough. He shall be wearing the trousers over some tracksuit bottoms as They are too thin to wear in their own. He will also wear his own shirt as the material purchased was not comfortable. Sizing wise I think okay though. The waistcoat is a good material but too small in my opinion to cover the age range. My son is 6 and it just fits him and he is a very slim build. The hat is also good but just fits my 6 year old. I brought the size range 6-8 years. If you have a 7 or 8 year old go for the next size.

bought this for my 9 year old boy, he hasnt worn it yet, as he has victorian day in a few weeks in school then hes keeping the outfit for his school residential visit to hookcourt, the outfit consists of a cap which looks of good quality waistcoat, which also looks good quality, like fine cordroy, elasticated leg trousers & cotton shirt, looks like it will last for a while as like others have said well worth the money, & doesnt look like it will fall apart like other dressing up outfits.... my little boy is looking forward to wearing this, hes gonna look the ideal part in this outfit

Quality of the material used is very bad. It is thinner than a paper. Not worth it for the price!

Great costume, yes it is thin material for the shirt and trousers but wasn’t getting much for the price. To get 4 pieces- hat, shirt, waistcoat and trousers, in the set was well worth the money, saved me having to make it too! My son is 6years old and fitted him well, trousers maybe little big, so would fit older children. For cheap and quick costume, perfect!

Ide very much like to start with the positives. The delivery on this item was Fantastic, the packaging while a little excessive okay :) and the costume seemed to be okay with the exception of the trousers(they are a very light material but even this can be excused when you consider the price your paying)Now to the negative. The size is way off I bought this outfit in 6-8 years for my almost 6 year old little boy. He was super excited about his pending Victorian day at school and while going through Amazon he liked the look of this one so we one clicked. But the size is so far off when we tried it on he broke down and told me he was too fat!! This coming from a very confident happy five almost 6 year old little boy. To say I'm disappointed is a understatement. This is children for goodness sake please improve your sizes.Now on Tuesday I'm going to have to purchase a larger size and hope for the best as my son really has his heart set on this outfit :s please please buy a size up to avoid this issue yourselfsFrom the mummy to one very sad little man

Costume was good but I have to wear my son’s grey school pants with it and it was going well with it. Otherwise very thing else was fine. He loved it and was Tommy Subbins character from Dr Dolittle.
