Product description The Fairy Reward Box is a beautifully crafted (wooden) fairy house which will look stunning in any nursery, child’s bedroom or playroom. Rather than collect stickers on a chart (like a traditional reward chart) children receive wooden tokens (your box comes with 20 in the shape of stars) which they post into the Reward Box and which can be replaced with small rewards as they achieve their goals. The box comes complete with a free 'Personalisation Kit' for you to add a child name as well as some fun characters. What ages is the Fairy Reward Box suitable for? The Reward Box is suitable from birth to approximately 8 years of age. How you use it will vary as your child grows but below is a taste: From birth to 18 months – The Reward Box is a timeless, keepsake, which will grow with the recipient. A wonderful new born or christening gift From 18 months to 3 years – reduce toddler tantrums, manage potty training and encourage sharing. Toddlers thrive on immediate reward. The Reward Box enables small achievements to be instantly recognized with a token which they will love posting. We recommend that tokens are replaced on a daily basis for small rewards, maybe they can be used to buy pudding or replaced with some stickers or a very small gift From 3 years to 5 years – help set bedtime (and waking up!) routines, develop listening skills and manners. Pre-school children can be encouraged to help set they goals and to develop their start basic numeracy skills by collecting tokens to work towards them. We recommend that tokens are collected over a period of about a week to be exchanged for family days out or small toys 5 years plus – reward homework completion, develop a sense of responsibility through basic chores and start to transition towards concepts such as pocket money and savings. Encourage older children to exchange tokens for real money to save in their money boxes. Safety Warning Children under 3 years should be supervised during use

Every parent needs one of these!!!
I originally bought a fairy house for my 5 year old daughter and a pirate chest for my 3 year old son. After just a few days I then had to order another fairy house for my 1 year old daughter as she couldn't understand why she couldn't join in with the other two when counting out their stars on an evening. She would even join in with tidying up toys and then come running up to me asking for a 'tarr'!So I came across these reward boxes on Facebook and as my son was having trouble at pre-school and refusing to do any tasks given (such as tidying toys, putting coat on etc) I spoke to his teacher and we agreed to give the reward box a go. He takes in a bag of stars with him and he will be five stars by his teacher to then put in his box at home. It has worked enormously! Even at home he will do anything to get a star. The other night we had salmon for dinner. He looked at his plate and said 'yak, I don't like it!' I said if he tried it, he could have a star. His eyes lit up and he did indeed try it. He told me it was yummy and cleared his plate!!!My 5 years old daughter will get stars for things like brushing her teeth, sharing and getting ready for school in a timely manner. She too loves getting stars. As it is still fairly new to us, we have started out by a prize each day if they get over 5 stars. If they don't get 5 stars, the pirate or fairy will leave a card saying there wasn't enough stars for a prize and what they can do to gain more. Prizes we have used have been blind bags, matchbox cars, kinder eggs and craft items. Once we have been doing the reward boxes a while, I will make the stars needed greater and maybe every couple of days instead of daily. Overall, I cannot recommend these enough. They create a special kind of magic whilst rewarding them for good/kind behaviour!!

Just lovely
Beautifully and solidly made and easy to personalise with pretty stickers. It is lovely and its actually made a difference to sleep already which was the main reason I bought it - daughter wanted my bed not hers- but its worked for so many things in just a day. Daughter can exchange stars for a dip in the treat bag or save her stars for a bigger treat. She thinks its very pretty, its almost a treat in itself. Only thing I would say is that its very girly, which isn't a criticism really, but if it was a little more neutral I would buy one for use in the classroom.

Nice reward box with tactile stars to feel and count!
My daughter is pleased with her bribe box, sorry reward box, and has been busy being good to collect stars for rewards over the summer hols. This works really well for my daughter as she is blind so can feel the rewards and count them easier than on a sticker wall chart. Only downside is the extra stars are so expensive and I'd like to get my younger daughter the chest one but its ridiculously over priced compared to the fairy box!

Beautiful way to reward good behaviour
Bought this to try and crack potty training although we still aren’t there yet! However we also use it to reward good behaviour and she responds really well to it especially when the fairy takes away the collected stars and leaves a little gift!I didn’t add the stickers straight away, over the course of several nights I kept on adding them and said the fairy was just moving in and making a special home which just added to the magic :-)

Beautifully made, pretty and sturdy.
Beautifully made. Lovely big size. Hoping it will help focus my daughter’s behaviour. I printed a personalised reward chart to go with it. For every stamp she gets for achieving a task or expectation she gets to put a star in the fairy reward. That way she can see where she’s doing really well and in which areas she needs to try harder. Daughter loves the fairy reward house, it’s very pretty and very well made.

sturdy but needs some work
so disappointed. my Autistic son picked this and he loves it. decorated it himself.etc but the stars hardly fit through the star shape on the door, hes broke several of them from being frustrated and getting them stuck. if you turn them round a few times sometimes you can get them to fit through fine so if your child doesnt mind that sort of thing it's fine

Lovely reward box
I bought this for my daughter after some behavioural issues at school. Instant results on the behaviour front. We used it for rewards and also incentivising! It looks pretty too and she loves putting the stars in that we have awarded her with. We loved it so much we bought one as a gift for a friend’s daughter.

Beautiful and loved by my girls
A big hit in our house. We used it for sleeping and it's worked a treat. I bought it for my eldest daughter (3 at the time) but her little sister lives putting the stars in it whilst bug sister is at school!
