Boogie Board Original 10.5"

This is one of the best gadgets I have ever bought. I often see myself writing down reminders on little post-it notes which end up all over the place. This resolves this issue. Dont hesitate buying this-it is truly great!

Seems to work fine. Purchased as gift for my 5 year old grandson who loves drawing. He loved it. He will get through 10 sheets of paper or more in a sitting. If he likes his drawing on the Boogie Board he copies onto paper.I would say that it is fine for a child to use like this but an adult might find the lines too thick and the slippery nature of the surface did not offer enough detail.

I love it! I can write notes, draw, design and a million other things on it and then just wipe clean when finished. Would recommend it to everyone.

Seems like black magic when you first try it. Great for quick notes but comes into its own for Pictionary or similar drawing games.

Broke after 4 weeks of use. Now it cant clear...

Item didn't work on receipt. Suspected batteried whcih dodn't look new. Unable to purchase required batteries at all normal outlets, had to order them specially.Fortunately the item worked properly when the new batteries sere installed. There is not much contrast, but enough to serve the purpose I suppose. Batteries were not deliverd on time either. Had the item not worked I would of course have had to return it. Seems overpriced for its simple function.

Super awesome. I tutor maths and this is great for teaching, drawing diagrams etc. You could get through 3 or 4 quadratic factorisations before filling up the space, or sketch out most geometry problems with room for some calculations. That's about it, but that's about enough. Then you just clear the screen and start afresh. Saves me going through wads of paper.Writing feel is beautiful, very similar to pencil and paper. The stylus is metal bodied with a conical plastic tip or nib - and that's it; it's not capacitive or anything. And there's pressure sensitivity so that quick, light strokes produce thin lines and slower, heavier strokes produce noticeably thicker lines. I would, perhaps, prefer an additional stylus with a finer nib so that I could sketch more precisely and/or write smaller and therefore fit more on the board. I've search amazon and ebay but such an item appears impossible to find (virtually all sold styli are capacitive for smartphones and ipads etc.).As others have noted, the contrast is on the low side. 95% of the time the off green lines are very clear though. There is a slight sheen to the surface so that if you catch the light at the right (well, wrong) angle, you will notice some glare but adjusting the angle of the board to avoid this is usually simple enough.In future, a additional finer nib would be good as well as improved contrast of course (a near 'white' output would be amazing!). Still, don't let my 4 star review put you off - this thing is *fun*. See youtube videos to see it in action if you're unsure. If you can imagine this fulfilling a specific need, you will likely love it.

Ich bin mit dem Boogie Board Original voll und ganz zufrieden. Nun kann ich bis die Finger glühen zeichnen ohne je wieder Angst haben zu müssen keine leeres Papier mehr zu finden. Die Größe von 10,5" und die Funktionen reichen mir vollkommen. Die Qualität des Stiftes, der Zeichenfläche und des Boardrahmen überzeugen mich voll und ganz. Top of the tops..

J'en avais marre d'utiliser des brouillons (gaspillage de feuille) et j'utilisais en moyenne deux cahiers de brouillons par mois. Du coup là, le problème est réglé. L'ardoise est extrêmement basique, on écrit simplement dessus, puis il y a un seul bouton qui sert à effacer.

Perfect if you are always writing down notes that quickly become irrelevant. The number of useless papers littering my desks is plummeting fast thanks to the Boogie Board.Now to get picky: I find the 10" size to be a little small. I tend to write big, and find scribble away the space quicker than I would like. If this was made at 14" - 17" they would have a real winner on their hands, and my money in their pocket in a heartbeat.Do yourself a favour and attach the pen to the board somehow, especially if you have children who like to draw. Trust me. I braided some thread and attached it, looks good and I never lose the pen any more. ;)

This board is better than paper. Very simple operation, only one button to erase. My kids love to write and draw on it. Precise enough to use for grown-ups lists.
