Brilliant Monitor!
Very impressed with the monitor, excellent picture quality and superb sound from the speaker, not a tinny sound, fantastic bass from such a small speaker. The only negative is the buttons at the bottom of the screen, very small and difficult to press. Overall an excellent monitor and would definitely recommend.

Good, but it needs to go on a stand
This is an easy to setup monitor and has a good picture and good sound from the speakers so it does everything I want it to. It connects to my laptop by a HDMI which is supplied with the monitor. My only criticism of this monitor is the angle that sits at when connected to the stand. it tilts slightly forward and when the monitor is on a table you find yourself lowering your head so you can see the monitor better. On it's own I feel the stand is to low, meaning the height of the monitor is not high enough with the stand supplied. I ended up buying a monitor stand for the monitor to stand on, and now it's just right - just the correct height it should be.So, it's a good monitor but you may find you'll also need to buy a monitor stand for it to go on.

Excellent value.
At this price I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this, it was launched in March 2017, six months ago, and it's a great monitor....I'm using Windows 10.Easy to set up. A single sheet A4 pictogram is supplied. Snap the metal base on, plug in the leads, pop the speaker onto the base (it just rests there) and you're good to go.If you're using the HDMI cable (supplied) you won't need to use an audio cable. Also supplied are UK, and European, three pin mains leads, transformer with low voltage lead to plug into screen, and the loudspeaker has its own short lead to plug into the screen - Dell give you all you need unless it is a VGA or other monitor lead and an audio lead, these aren't supplied. At first my sound wouldn't work, I'm using a GeForce GT620 graphics card, and it turned out the NVIDIA Control Panel still thought I was using my old screen. Rebooted the computer, the Dell screen is now recognised and sound works (loud! - 2x 6w is a lot of noise, though they do not match a sub woofer type speaker set-up, I'd say they are simply functional). I haven't found an outlet for earphones, probably need to plug straight into the computer and change your audio output settings, a bit of a pain each time?I was using a Samsung S24B300 monitor previously, about 4 years old. I was struggling more and more with image processing, and when I looked at 'lcd-test' pages on the Dutch Lagom website I was astounded at how poor my screen was. Colours varying wildly from top to bottom, a text image which faded completely away towards the top of the screen. So I read around and realised that not all LED screens are the same, and thought on a bit while looking at my iPad which doesn't suffer from this problem. Then I read my problem was the result of using a slightly older technology, TN type LED screen. I started looking for the later technology, IPS type LED monitors and found this Dell screen, latest 2017 model with loudspeakers to boot.I have to say it's a revelation, and looking at the same Lagom test page now I am having a WOW OMG moment, my problems are solved!Yes, the monitor has a gloss screen. Many top end monitors do, I think, such as the Apple Thunderbolt and iMac screens. It's just a case of avoiding lights behind you, or a window, and enjoying the great quality from this screen.

Excellent screen and very good quality video
Excellent screen and very good quality video. The integrated speakers are very adequate and avoid unnecessary cabling. Set up is reasonably straightforward but make sure you download the latest driver as the copy supplied is superceded. The only issue I have is the power button which is very small and not very tactile. It can take several attempts to power on/ off. Great value.

Good monitor for you money
This monitor is great for your money. The setup is easy, the screen is bright, the color is good, the speaker is loud. At this price, you can not go wrong with this monitor.

Screen quality and Sound quality though are both great!
Very low stand and no Vesa... don't buy this screen if you are tall or your desk is a bit low - it needs a riser.very weird that it has no Vesa while it has infinity edge ... Only 1 HDMI and no DVI is a let down too.Screen quality and Sound quality though are both great!

Beware! Speaker connection works only via HDMI cable.
Do not buy this for the speaker unless your pc allows audio through the HDMI cable. I have wasted hours and money with Dell trying to get the speaker to work, and have been given misleading information about it until very recently. The manual states that you can connect audio via a correctly connected jack between the monitor and your pc. You cannot. The screen quality is good, but I chose this one for the speaker quality, which is useless to me.

Horrible quality control
Item received with bleed, dead pixel, crackling speakers when audio was used as well as speakers starting one second after the video.I was sent a replacement, this time the cable for audio came with the pins bent making the speakers unusable. The quality of the image is not the most vibrant and blacks are more dark grey even with the glossy screen compared to my other IPS monitor but for the price point it's quite nice. The sound if no issues is good, especially when other offerings are so tiny or not even included.HOWEVER, the quality control seems to be non existent and I can not recommend this product based on this point alone.
