Perfect transformer for RING PRO bell
This is a perfect 24V AC plug in transformer for use with the RING PRO bell. It allows installation close to a UK 3 pin wall socket and works perfectly as long as you remember to go into the RING app and set the bell to 'None'. If you fail to do this the in-line glass fuse and eventually the transformer thermal fuse will blow. Great customer service from Benham wholesale, the vendor, who provided an immediate replacement following a fault. Couldn't ask for more from a supplier. Great product, great service.

Working But Not Sure if Suitable
Purchased this for a Ring Doorbell, I have measured the output of this at various times of day. It is reading 29 volts. This was with no load. I am not sure if this is safe to use with Ring Doorbell. But I have also checked other transformers which also give higher output ratings than suggested. I would appreciate any comments on if this is safe to you. Ring suggest 8~25 Vac.

Did the job
Just received it today and it worked perfectly. Ring Pro shows good power supply in health report and video quality is very good. I would definitely recommend this to power the unit. It's easy to install and now going to buy another one to install the back door ring pro.

Seemed like a good idea until i tried opening it
I had to send this back as it was impossible to open the unit due to the screws being cheap and no precision screw driver I had would fit

If you are going to use this for the Ring Pro then Avoid like the plague!
Bought this device as I had no wire close enough with enough voltage to power the Ring Pro. I followed the instructions as per the comments below and couldn’t get the damn thing to work... spent hours switching wires, changing the power line, changing fuses, literally everything my mind could think of and finally I realised that the transformer is the issue, I think it either provides too little, too much voltage or is really really badly made(sorry that’s really vague but i’m no expert)! Electricity passed through the transformer to the Ring pro but it didn’t work. I ended up using the 24V transformer provided by Ring and cut a plug out of a old sander, changed the fuse to 3amp and wired it in to the bottom of the transformer then used the bell wire and attached it to the top of the transformer with the power-line thingy attached (didn’t matter which wire it was attached to and VOILA! Ring pro worked!Update:So this is the setup I have right now, you will have to buy a casing for the transformer but i’m happy with the result!

Suitable for Ring Pro setup
I did not have a wired doorbell before installing my Ring Pro and needed something that would help me wire it into the mains. This transformer is easy to wire and worked first time.
