Then this product would work for you, this stop the slugs before they can leave the slime everywhere :) good quality product that just works. Excellent value with plenty of pellets.

Effective. However, despite the reviews being mixed it does clearly state on the packaging that these are not suitable for use around pets and children. Areas where I have been able to use ( being fenced off from children and pets) has seen a significant decrease in slug activity.

Been using these slug pellets around young tomato plants, not one slug or damage to be seen. Will purchase again.

This year the slugs & snails took a real liking to my little sunflowers & killed off one of the 3, with the remaining 2 looking rather lacking in the leaf department. I’m conscious of how bad the old fashioned slug pellets are towards animals and wildlife so don’t normally bother about them, but when they killed the first sunflower i could no longer allow them to free access to my tender seedlings.These pellets are easy to use, just pour them into the container & then go. The next morning, about half the pellets had gone & the plants only had about half the damage of previous nights. As I continued to use them, the tender young sunflowers started to regrow the leaves. I wouldn’t say these killed off the slugs to the same level as the old fashioned, more deadly ones, but if used consistently they definitely lessened the amount of damage caused. In the photo, you can see how my little ones recovered but they still get eaten a little bit each night.As much as I love my sickly little sunflowers, my main priority are the animals. These are said to be safe to use & I didn’t see anything to the contrary. Next year l will start using them sooner & hopefully that will help the pellets be even more effective against those slimy little thieves. Let the battle commence!
