Activated Charcoal Filters for Distillers

Super product with fantastic customer service also. Have ordered several times and never fails to disappoint. Would I recommend ... most certainly! Having a hard water source, I have certainly noted the difference with regard to water quality (both in the prevention of furring of the kettle and the water tasting so much better and less chemically). To summarize, the product is as described, well made and does what it says.

Have only recently purchased a ViaFosa Distiller and was looking for these activated charcoal filter sachets. It seems these are the only ones available on Amazon now, but they are good quality and nicely packaged, individually sealed, in a very compact box. JD Harris appear to be a good reliable seller, with prompt delivery and value for money.

OK. Remember though after a while the taste of stinky water is kept in the filter so you have to change the filter. But no complaints. I use a gravity filter to get rid of the smell. The water that comes out is 2 to 3 PPM. so almost extremely pure.

Until switching out the filter with this filter, the water had an almost metallic kettle like taste. I thought that perhaps that's what distilled water tasted like. These have proven that theory wrong and now I feel like I am drinking the cleanest water ever. Super happy with these. Thank you!

I Knew what I was getting as these filters came with my water distiller and I had no issues with them.

I have been using these charcoal filters in my water distiller for a year now and they last a long time. They are supposed to make the water taste pure but I have not tried using any other brand but am very happy with these.

The filters are designed for use with water distillers. When testing the purity of the distilled water, the contaminants (?) measured are 2 parts per million (local tap water has 280 ppm). The taste of tea and coffee is greatly improved.

These are quite good if I remember correctly and better than cheaper options
