4 Litre Polycarbonate BPA FREE Jug for Water Distillers

Making 4L of water seems a lot, then you realise you use more than you think each day and your distiller in on in a continuous loop! So I bought this as addition storage (I bought the glass water jug version that comes with the Megahome Distiller).The 4L polycarbonate jug, reminds me of a water cooler bottle, just smaller and dumpier! Its much easier to handle than the glass jug, in that it’s lighter and with it’s all in one moulded handle much sturdy than the glass jug. I fill this once I’ve filled my fridge jugs for cold water & store this in the cupboard to fill the kettle, steam veg and top up the water jugs. Robust and easy to pour from (more so than the glass jug - pour too fast and the spout dribbles). This makes a great solution to store a lot of water easily and use as you go.

Peace of mind BPA free and easily goes in the fridge so you can have plenty of purified water available

This would be excellent if it had a pouring spout. Sadly I lose more water than I would want when pouring into a glass or kettle, for example, because it does not have a pouring spout. Probably wouldn't buy again.

As stated above it was expensive but very strong and sturdy

Sturdy

A lot lighter than the heavy glass one I bought a year ago, easier to handle - yet still sturdy. Using the old glass one as a storage jar for purified water.

The jug itself is a good replacement for the original distiller jug but the screw cap seal is missing, making it not even watertight let alone airtight.

It leaks!! No matter how hard I tighten the lid it still leaks.Plastic feels really thin and fragile.I'm almost certain this will crack if dropped, unlike other BPA free bottles ive purchased.Definitely not work the £25!!
