Well made
This is actually pretty heavy and well made. Bought to put a necklace in for my boyfriend for Fathers Day and he absolutely loved it. Sits on our dresser as decoration now.

Perfect match for my Q-Workshop Dwarven Metal Dice for D&D ...
I have been looking for a unique set of dice and a dice vault. There are many expensive dice vaults made of unique wood from around the world, still I was looking for something that is different from all that.I use this chest with the dice sets from Q-Workshop (links below).I needed something that will hold all the dice (12). Also I needed a dice box that either complemented the dice or matches them. I came across this while searching for miniature chest and it matches the diced.I got medium size chest with the two dice sets. They fit comfortably. In general you can fit two standard size D&D dice sets (10 dice each) in a medium size chest. The small one will likely fit 1.5 sets of dice (I created a cardboard box based on dimensions to check). You can see in the photos, this looks amazing. The only complaint I have is that there is no latch, but the build quality is good (seems sturdy) and the chest is heavy enough that the lid closes with gravity. It would have been nice to just place some small rare earth magnets at the latch for extra grip.Other than that, this is perfect. Here are the two dice sets I am using.- Q-Workshop Dwarven Polyhedral Metal Dice (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BOZ1GLC)- Q-Workshop Dwarven D6 Metal set (https://www.amazon.com/Metal-Black-Dwarven-Dice-Set-5D6/dp/B005M1B164)

Better than I expected, could be great with a little work.
This is not stamped sheet metal but is some beefy cast metal. The Medium Bronze I bought came in at 450g, just a whisker under one pound. I was a little put out by the price, but after getting it and feeling the heft I'm fine with it now. The "velvet" is actually some kind of coated plastic material. I can hear it crinkling in the bottom where the cloth doesn't reach the bottom of the box but is suspended above it about 1/8". I'm sure it will rip from the stuff in the box at some point soon. It does look and feel nice though. I really wish I'd paid attention and realized there was no latch or closing mechanism. The weight of the lid makes it secure enough for sitting on a shelf, but I expect this to get some frequent handling and I'd have preferred a little something, anything, to secure that lid. The dimensions and pics on the listing were accurate. People complaining about it being small should really use some paper to fold up a little model using the listed measurements to get a feel for what the dimensions are like IRL.TL;DR - Knowing the poor alternatives to this out there on AMZ and having read the description carefully I'm not disappointed at all because I don't think I could do better in this price range, but with a slightly better lining and some sort of closer/latch I would go from "not disappointed" to "beyond happy".

Smaller than I thought
The box in the picture looked larger than it actually was. It fits in the palm of your hand. It does in fact work as a ring box for multiple rings and is about double the size of a regular single ring box. I bought it to house a ring for my mom for Christmas that I had made for her and bought a second ring box thinking I would be able to fit a regular ring box inside of it because it looked so large but it didn't which was fine. It does have black felt on the inside, well made. Its not held closed by magnets or anything but seals well because of the weight of the closing door. It would however fall open if you were to turn it upside down.

Extremely small
This was way smaller than I thought it was going to be. They didn't really have size indicator in the pictures or maybe I overlooked it. It will still work for the earrings that I have here but it is very small. It does look really nice though and it seems pretty good quality I just wish it was a little bit bigger
