Generally very Good. Tested (Calibrated) on 4 extremely accurate known bearings and was within less than 1 degree. Checked using quarry known positions and trisponded bearings.The only thing I would say is questionable is the inclamonitor. This seems to be the only thing that lets it down, as it looks cheap and not up to the standard of the rest of the components.That’s not a problem for me as not really relevant for my needs.Very Robust overall and far more accurate than my 4 other base plate compasses, including my Silva. The biggest plus point for me is it’s very clearly visible when taking bearings as my sight has deteriorated quite a bit.

Good quality compass but heavier than i thought it would be but my sons strong so hopefully itll be liked and used whilst hiking.

Well designed and robust. Haven't used it in anger yet but a nice instruments.

Manual is next to useless. I'm sure compass is good but it's not lightweight.

Very well made, a bit stiff, hopefully this will wear off in time.Heavy piece, made from metal as opposed to an alloy. weighing in at 290 grams.It has an eye piece for checking number of degrees.Spirit level.The incline plate, one will need to be careful when closing the unit as the pointer can easily be caught when closing it.It has distance markings on the sides, one in centimetres, the other for scales on maps.Would I recommend this, YES I certainly would.Would I buy this again, quite simply, YES.Hope this helps.
