Q: has anyone used this product for shredding credit cards?

No. There made to cut paper. Why not melt the credit card if you are worried snapping in two isn't secure enough

Q: Hi, would the scissors be any good for shredding tissue paper?

I am not sure because I have never tried. They are very sharp and the blades are reasonably far apart, so I guess that they would be OK for tissue paper. Maybe try 2 sheets together that way the paper would be thicker. I would not try it on crepe paper though.

Hi Mrs Evans that would be a no the fabric is to flimsy to create cut marks I just tested it. Thanks
