I always use original inks, these are good value
Since 2011 I have used first an HP Officejet 8000 printer and then since 2017 an Officejet 8620. I only use genuine HP inks, and I find that in the officejet models the inks are long lasting. I use my printer a lot as I am self-employed consultant engineer and I am forever witing reports and proposals and printing drafts for proof-reading.Before 2011 I used cheap models of HP Printers (eg deskjet) but i found that the inks cost more than the printers themselves and hardly lasted any time..For the last few years I have bought these 4-cartridge packs (940XL for my previous printer, 950XL for my current one), and I find them to be good value for money. I do shop around and generally find the best price to be on Amazon or occasionally on the official HP website when they are running a promotion.I did look at the HP Instant Ink, but for my useage I felt it was not the way to go.When my last printer was nearing it's last legs and I already had the new one sitting in the box, I did experiement with 3rd-party compatible inks - never again.I would always use HP official ink - i have always found it to be reliable, and should my printer develop a problem then as i have only used original ink cartridges I will have no problem with getting HP support.

Expensive but good quality
This is a good package but becoming really expensive. I always use the colours before the black - why not an option of the set without the black?

Similar to others this latest cyan cartridge not only fails to be recognised but also means you can’t print out in black and white as it locks the whole printer - don’t buy from this company as there is something faulty with a whole batch of cartridges for this printer I’ve used for years with no problem

These work!
We're using a HP printer for almost 10 years. I have tried less expensive versions of the inks but the printer stops working. Once we use HP inks the printer continues to work exceptionally well. This multi-pack was fairly good value. I recommend other users to keep a look out for offers!
