Nearly sent this mic back as I couln't get it working at first. The problem for me at least is that Windows is not simple any more. I checked the audio settings by right clicking the speaker icon on the taskbar and made sure the mic was recognised and set as default which it was but I still couldn't get it to work. Of course Windows being Windows now you have to also turn the microphone on in settings (right click anywhere on the desktop then click on Personalise) then select personalisation, microphone is one of the devices listed. Simple to do if you know about it.It is a very good microphone with a nice shockmout stand and pop filter. I use it with Audacity to record my violin which it does really well. It would be good for playing guitar and singing too.I Hope this helps you get it working if you're having trouble.

I bought this to communicate online with my students while school is closed. It was easy to set up, arrived quickly and is excellent quality. I used it to make some screencasts yesterday and was impressed at the clarity of my voice and lack of background noise - very happy customer!

I am not a sound expert nor a sound engineer but this microphone is perfect for someone who just needs a slightly better quality of voice / music recording for personal use. I have used this mic to record some audio book reading and it came out great.I also share a flat so sometimes my flatmates make sounds and I was worried this mic will pick them up but it manages to only pick up my voice loud and clear. The only thing to be aware of is that it has a standard USB connector so you will need an adaptor for a Mac laptop if you have one like me.Microphone is really tiny, it doesn't feel as sturdy when you are building it and the quality of material is probably cheap but as I said, it does the job for me and doesn't take much room on my desk either.

This device was a waste of money!No idea if it had warranty as it’s been too long now, however the first time I used the microphone the was an annoying whine like DC interference somewhere.... tried on multiple devices and always had some static whine......No point buying in my opinion even for start out gamer/youtuber/whoever wants to use a cheap microphone with actual good audio recording quality......

The sound quality of the microphone is very good, and it is easy to use .Very comfortable.The microphone can be adjusted before and after ,it is very convenient,there are switches on the upper part ,it is convenient to control,the cable is very long ,the storage is also very good ,the design has the characteristic very much.

I brought this microphone to do an audio interview and it has done the job rather well. It picks up sound nicely, but make sure to reduce any background noise as it can be quite sensitive.Although other reviews state that some sort of adapter is needed for a MacBook, this microphone worked perfect well with mine once I plugged it into the USB port (although mine is circa 2012).Once plugged in, don't forget to change the sound input in system settings!

This is a great Microphone for the price. I have used it on my YouTube videos and personal notes. The setup instructions are minimal, however it is not difficult to figure out the setup. Make sure you select the correct rate for your system and application. This makes a huge difference and you will be pleased.
