Q: Does the kinivo 550bn support auto switching with the roku ultra? product description states no, illustrations show the roku as a streaming device.

The Roku Ultra is an example of an always-on device thus the Roku will not work with auto-switching. The auto-switching feature works by detecting whether an input device has been powered on or off. When it detects a device is turned on, it will switch to that input. When it is powered off, it will switch off to the next active input. Some HDMI devices stay in a stand-by mode even when you have powered them off and always maintain a connection with the switch. The older ones do. The manufacturer provided bad information. None of what they said is true. Maybe it was in the initial releases versions.

Q: Just plugged in and quality is terrible, fuzzy and not sharp. Using high quality hdmi cables less than 6ft… what else can I try before I return?

Email customer service and explain what’s happening. They’re really good . Had 2 problems with mine, my fault, and I received an answer in a couple hours.
