Does what is says and was bought for.
The speedo on the Fiat Ducato camper can be hard to read in mph let alone kph. With so many speed cameras accidental speeding is always a worry. Hence this purchase, which does one job admirably - Displays your speed! The contents are exactly as described and well packed. I particularly liked the small USB power adaptor. The instructions are clear and use is simple, just two easy to use slide switches, On / Off and select MPH / KPH.The unit is in a neat solid case which is small enough not to obscure vision but large enough to read easily. There are no annoying alarms to set or distract. The battery indicator and satellite indicators are useful.Various mounting options are supplied and these should cover most situations. I opted for the windscreen suction mount, the bendy arm allowing slight adjustment for the best viewing angle. On a test run the speed was easy to read, even driving into the sun, and it updated quickly responding to speed changes.Tested, with cruise control set, against my Sat Nav and Speedo, the readings were consistent always matching the Sat Nav, and reading 2 or 3 mph lower than the speedo which is expected as speedos are usually set to read high, for obvious reasons. The built in battery, (battery life not tested), should mean that you do not need a power wire draped across the dash in normal use.Whilst not the cheapest of such units on the market my feeling is that it is simple to use, (2 slide switches), and that the overall build quality is good with a simple clear display with no distracting "bells and whistles".It displays the speed clearly and accurately and that is why it was bought.

Good but pricey!
The only reason I've only given this 4 stars is the price! Compared to a cheap sat nav it's VERY expensive. However it does the job very well and so far has saved me from speeding tickets in my Ferrari!

Exelent speedometer.
Excellent item. Easy to set up and use. I prefer airvent mount. Minor problem in extreme sunshine but still able to read. A slight delay in catch up when in mountains but no problem under any other conditions. even when in EU. Day or night extremely accurate. easy to transfer from car to car.

The Suction Cup is Useless
The speedometer is excellent for simplicity and accuracy (the cheap ones at £19.00 or so are hopeless - they read way over actual road speed) . Battery is v handy ' cos no trailing wires. If you are thinking of buying one of these units do not assume that the screen sucker that comes with it is any good . It is not - it is abysmally, buttock clenchingly useless. I can only assume that it made by the same factory that makes the toys to go inside the Lidl Christmas Crackers - rubbish. If your plan is to attach it to the screen via suction device then pop down to Halfords and get one of their phone holder units. Alternatively do as I have done; buy a Halfords rear view mirror remove the glass, trim the back of the mirror, and screw it to the mounting plate that comes with the speed. You now have an excellent speedo and suction screen mount.

gps for a motorcycle works well
Purchased this handy gps to run on my gsxr turbo dragbike.”speedo very accurate bit overpriced and you probably wouldn’t want to get the unit wet but it works well even in rural areas so definitely worth considering if you want to fit to a motorcycle 😎👍

nice and simple
Bought this for my Sons classic car which has a speedo that guesses the speed anywhere between -10 and 120 mph. It doesn't do anything other than give a completely reliable and accurate speed reading , which is ideal when you are driving a car with no power steering, a clutch so heavy it feels like you are trying to push the titanic away from it's dock and a seat which collapses backwards when breathed on. Now to look for an air freshener to stop it smelling like a damp labrador .

Excellent data but mount could be improved
I chose this digital speedo in preference to several much cheaper options. It is well made accurate and finds satellites without much delay. All in all I am VERY PLEASED WITH IT.However the drawback comes when you try to mount it. I drive a Fiat Ducato cabbed motorhome which has a poorly situated speedo. The item comes with two mounts; the first is a standard suction pad for the windscreen - this bounces uncontrollably when the vehicle is in motion. Didn't anyone actually try this out before marketing? The second option is a very fiddly arrangement that attaches to the vent grill. In the case of my vehicle there was no way to do this and to see the readout! As I said earlier I am very happy with the product but at close to £90 the mounting options are unacceptably bad.My solution? Buy a mobile phone mount. In my case I chose model CW-CH008 from Amazon. This works, but it is a little shallow as the speedo does not have a flat casing at the back
