These work exactly the same as the more expensive VDO sender

I installed VDO gauges in two different vehicles and in one I used the VDO brand 0-80psi sender and this one in the other. I cannot detect any difference in the two as far as function goes. Both work equally. I was curious if they were both calibrated the same so I bought another one of these and replaced the VDO sender just to see if the reading would be the same and it was. If these last they are a really good deal.

Out of spec

Disappointed. Others seem to have had good luck, but not I. First one leaked at the case joint and did not read properly. Second one is not reading correctly either. Light does not go off until the engine hits about 1000 RPM, and reads very low on the top as well, verified with a mechanical gauge. Oh well. Cheap is cheap.
