The Simple Scribe delivers precise scribes for a perfect fit. Designed and created by an expert carpenter, simple but remarkably effective and efficient. The Simple Scribe is robust and durable - light and portable. Takes regular pencils which are firmly held in the tool with a friction ring. There are 7 faces which produce offsets of between 7mm and 25mm. No need to set this tool, the offsets are built in. Quality tool, designed, engineered and made in the USA.

Great idea, Simple and very handy
I really like the Simplicity of this product, most of the time I use Hexagonal style pencils as they seem to be more readily available, however they do not fit this product so make sure you have a supply of round pencils.I would have like to have rated this 5 stars but the pencil issue and second class slow delivery for Prime customers lets it down slightly.Still a Great invention and I'm sure I will get lots of use out of it, I'd recommend it.

Handy tool ,over priced.
As a cabinetmaker I work on mobile homes , so all the interiors need to be scribed in , this is a handy bit of kit quick and easy to use. It won't do every thing you will need other scribing tools. I have marked it down one star because of the price far to much.

Easy Peasy,
Dead easy to use, no faffing about with a compass having to have a steady hand and beady eye. Just lob a pencil into the housing butt up to the wall/surface and scribe away. So simple, I could use it.

Good quality, Hard to use in the real world, there are easier ways to do the same job. Ok for workshop use.
