Must have for Blackest Night completionists
One of the best tie-in stories to the Blackest Night- this feels like it could have part of the main stories as it’s so naturally linked to the overall event. See what the Green Lanterns were doing whilst combating the black lantern invasion. Featuring the first time Guy Gardner uses a red ring and delves into the history of the Corps whilst planning for the future. Simply great story telling.

An enjoyable and gap-filling addition to the Blackest Night
The Green Lantern corps (obviously) concentrates on the lantern corps and their role as a whole in this battle for survival as the blackest night shines over the DC Universe. This is'nt really a must buy to understand the whole blackest night story as the Blackest Night and Blackest Night Green Lantern graphic novels really are, but it fills in the gaps, gives a good background look on the entire lanterns universe as it is turned upside down. The writing is good for it's characters and the artwork is just as admirable, it isn't as good as the work of Geoff Johns or Ivan Reis but nontheless I throughly enjoyed this and found it as a good tie-in to the blackest night series, I would reccomend this to fill you in on the background if you are considering the other two main stories.
