These are worth it. i have used camel's 18 shades and 24 shades too. I love the convenience of watercolor cakes . For me watercolor tubes are a Little hassle. These are best for beginners. There are many brand that are selling watercolor cakes of size 48 at too high price and the quality is not good. But you can trust camel these are on a little affordable side.but the quality of paints are high like any other expensive brand it's a 10/10 from me go ahead and purchase them.

The media could not be loaded. It's fantastic to get such a range of colours ready to use in cake form. The inside of the whole lid can be used as a large palette. I have been using the 24 set for several months and find the paint quality pretty pretty good. Yes, they're less pigmented than the Brustro watercolour cakes, but at one third the cost this is a super deal. For playing with and experimenting with watercolors for a good while and for plein air work this is a good set to have. I am happy to see the sepia, Payne's grey, and Hooker's greens, as well as Terre Verte, olive green. They have French ultramarine as well as Ultramarine blue, but I don't see a marked difference between them. There's Prussian blue as well, nice to have. Their Raw Sienna doesn't look right, it's almost identical to yellow ochre, unless that's a defect in my set.Overall a very satisfying buy. Make sure to activate the paint first by spraying the cakes with water and letting it soak a minute to get good pigment.

Nice good packing and good quality

The water color is wonderful... but the brush was not packaged correctly and totaly damaged. And it also had a glue covering on it.
