Love this grill press! But is there a rubber "mat" for it? Something to put it on after use.

Can this be used for vegetables in a stovetop Grill pan?

I've used it for a variety of items in a pan or grill. The press actually measures 4.25" by 8.25", so if the sides of your pan is greater, it will work. It has good weight, and distributes the heat evenly.
