Woodlore 84025 Basic Cedar Hangers with Clips, Set of 5

love these! great grip on pants in suit combo so that the jacket hangs nicely, and the pants hang out their wrinkles overnight. These also have a nice cedar scent to them, which helps with closet out a little. They arrived quickly. Will buy more when needed. Great price too.

Good product. Great price. Keeps pants straight avoiding a crease. Great for suits, minimizing pressing or steaming on the next wear. Good construction and light cedar scent.

The inner portion of the metal clasps are very sharp and dangerous. I accidentally cut my thumb on it. The edges are so sharp, I think I can cut potatoes with it. I am very dissatisfied with this product. I can't believe they let such sharp edges go into an everyday product.Pros:1)it is a wooden hanger that does its job.Cons:1)Dangerously sharp metal clasps. Please keep this product away from children.2)Cheaply made with no safety in mind.3)The clasps make annoying metal-to-metal screeches when sliding back and forth.

I am giving this product 2 stars because the wood did appear to have a cedar scent. First of all, the packaging was extremely damaged and taped together. This leads me to believe that these weren't originally or at least originally packaged together. So, 5 random hangers were thrown together than an old ripped up label was taped on. Great. Interestingly, the label on the hangers said "shirt hanger" while the listing here just says basic hangers, and has clips for pants, hmmm. Anyway, the hangers themselves appeared incredibly flimsy. More importantly, at least 2 of the hangers were already cracking and peeling, and had deep cracks in them almost going all the way through the hanger part. The points where the metal attached to the wood were cracked, almost as if the person just stuck the metal head in the thin wood. This product just appeared flimsy, and given that it was already cracking and peeling just out of the old, re-constructed label... yikes. I had to return this product and will not use this brand again.

I ordered five packages of hangers WITH CLIPS. Two of the sets arrived without clips - although the sticker on the bubble wrap stated that they did. Clearly they were mismarked. In the end I decided to keep the incorrectly sent ones just because I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending them back. The hangers are good quality and the cedar smells wonderful in my closet. I plan to order more.

I purchased these about two weeks ago after spending entirely too much time reading reviews about cedar hangers. Some people seemed to have problems with the hanging bar coming off and/or roughness of the wood. I have not yet experienced either of these problems as the hanger bars seem very sturdy (currently holding lightweight wool dress pants) and the cedar is fairly smooth. I was a little bit concerned about the clips on the hanger bar as I thought they might leave a mark or wear on the pants, but there is a nice rubber piece where the clip touches the fabric to minimize that. Overall, I think these will do the job very well, but if I experience any problems with the hanger bars/clips, I will update this review.

These are great except for one detail that I over looked. The thin metal bar that attached to the cedar portion of the hanger actually extends further down that I envisioned. With the way my closet is designed my trousers now brush the top of my shoe racks, I am more dissapointed in myself for not noticing this. BUT that simpering aside these are excellent hangers. The cedar is refreshingly aromatic, not all of them are in my experience.I would recommend them to others but do be mindful of the true lenght/depth of the hanger.I will be purchasing more....after I rework my closet a bit.

We purchased this product after reading positive reviews on it as we were looking for a product to hang and protect my husbands $800+ suits. From the time we opened the box, there was no cedar smell. We even read that if you try to scuff it a little, the cedar smell, etc would be rekindled....nothing! I am not sure why the product we received differs from the product that it seems like many other reviewers have received. Very disappointing!
