This is a set of 13, long-shaft, ball-end Allan Keys in Imperial sizes (sometimes known as AF - 'Across Flats').Allan key fasteners are simultaneously great, and really annoying. You can get plenty of clamping force with a low-profile, neat-looking head. They are fantastic right up to the point where you don't have the right size key. Or worse, someone else didn't have the right size key, chewed up the head, and now you can't get the fastener out...The main reason for that happening is that it's difficult or impossible to tell whether a fastener or key is Imperial or Metric. Most Allan keys found in the UK are metric sizes, which often sort-of fit in Imperial fasteners. The fit just well enough to round off the inside of the head as soon as you put some load on it.This set of Imperial Allan keys should end that scenario forever. Well, maybe not someone else ruining the heads, but at least you will have no excuse for doing so.As a guitar maker and repairer, I do a lot of work on American instruments, which sometimes use Imperial sizes, sometimes Metric, and usually a mixture of both. I have a Harley-Davidson motorcycle which uses both, and a Royal Enfield which uses... well, actually it uses a mixture of BSF, BSW, BSC, Whitworth, AF and some metric. For that one, I just use whatever fits. Usually an adjustable.Until someone invents an adjustable Allan key, this is the best alternative - a quality set of Imperial keys with a long shaft for maximum leverage, and a ball end for rapidly undoing fasteners in awkward spots. Take care with the long shaft feature - experience has taught me that you can apply enough torque with these to snap the head clean off a stuck fastener.I'm impressed with the quality of these tools. As a former aircraft mechanic, I'm used to the 'big name' brands. These are not quite up to the same standard, but they are on a par with my Halfords Advanced metric set - and I highly rate those tools. That set cost £16. This one costs £4.99.Yes, I recommend this set!

No complaints so far. It's not like I need to use them daily so I can't give you say a plumbers or engineer perspective.It does what I need it for when I need it.

The folding carry case helps keep them together, although I know over time they end up lying about loose in my toolbox.The ball end is handy to have to get to those awkward parts, but I find I can never get the same amount of torque onto the ball without it slipping out if the nut is stuck rigid or rusted in.This is a decent set of keys and should last a long time. They are also well priced so 5 stars from me and recommended if you need an Imperial set of Allen keys.

Los he comprado por el precio bajo pero no sirven para tornillos muy apretados. El material de construcción es endeble. En casa podría servir según para que pero no para trabajos más complejos donde harían falta llaves algo más profesionales.
