basic but reliable and functions as intended
really like this wired controller it does not have an array of un-needed features but is just what you need at a reasonable price. i like my switch with a wired controller at the dock and i have played hour and hours with this with not issues whatsoever. really like this thing if i lost it would buy another in a heart beat. no complaints do recommend. prob one of my favorite switch controllers i have used. i had a Zelda themed one from Nintendo and it broke did not last so this one compared to that this one was better. happy gaming switch fans this has been a good controller for me

Great controller
Great for the price. I love power a controllers. I think every new xbox console should come with a PowerA enhanced wired controller in addition to the wireless. Its dependable, has a couple programmable rear buttons. Not overly heavy, but feels sturdy. Sometimes the microsoft wireless controllers feel a little weak in the mid of the controller body. Like they dont use enough screws and it feels like you can snap something with a good twist in the wrong direction. These feel pretty light, but not flimsy like that.

You Get What You Paid For
For $15, this controller is OK. It's wired, and the cord it uses is Micro-USB, but in a weird, proprietary way. It has a little groove on the head of the cord for it to slip into the controller. While this does make the connection more stable, eliminating the problem that many Micro-USB devices have (which is the chord breaking off due to the thin connector), the groove makes it incompatible with any of Micro-USB cables you might have. The joysticks are pretty crummy feeling, but are functional and really aren't that bad. The D-Pad is god-awful, don't even bother with it, it takes so much pressure to register. The buttons are, well, buttons, not much to say there. The triggers are extremely gummy and don't feel nice, and the bumpers are bordering on a war crime. The right bumper on mine is so disgustingly gummy feeling that I have no idea when I've registered an input, and are overall just not satisfying to use.Remember, you get what you pay for.
