My husband and I got one each for our individual setups and honestly? It was a nightmare the whole time.Firstly, the actual bar the ports are on is incredibly small and you have to tilt them at a downward angle to plug in your peripherals. If you forget to do that or don't have it at the correct angle, you risk damaging your device.Secondly, the power allocation is actual garbage. Never in the year and a half I have had this laptop have I ever had ONE power issue until I got this hub. Devices were shorting out all the time, and it caused my system to freeze on multiple occasions. This SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT HAPPEN. Neither have any of the devices that were plugged in had any issues before and none have had issues since.Thirdly, it was incredibly inconvenient to place. Yes, it's small--but it's also incredibly inflexible. The receiving USB-A port is placed upside down, no matter where the outgoing port on your device is, you have to have the hub facing backwards to use it, which for most setups, is very inconvenient. We both use USB microphones for video production purposes. Both our devices can handle up to 1920000 ghz on 24 channel, which is studio quality audio. This cannot handle that at all. In fact, it can't register or read the microphone at all whatsoever. Using a different port on our devices solved the issue. In fact, getting rid of THIS hub altogether solved the issue. Don't waste your $7 and change on this piece of actual trash. We actually went out of our way to return these because we should not have to be out $16 total because of how poorly these devices function and the fact that they stopped working after two weeks. Do yourself a favor, get away from this page, and go find some other affordable option because this one is not a good one.

USB C doesn't work in my laptop where cords will, however when using the USB adapter everything works properly. Large size but works as intended

couldnt have been better at wasting time
Well, it looked good when i unboxed it. From that point forward however, not many plusses to note while there arose many problems. Of the six long side usb ports, only two were assembled so as to allow free and easy connection with its USB insert. Three of the other long end ports required that i jostle and angle the USB cords for the connection to be made. One of the 6 ports did not work at all from the start. For this reason i should have initiated a return immediately. But sometimes, because of the inconvenience and irritation about more work (that was unexpected) when so much regular work needs doing, one never gets around to completing the return. As lousy fortune, and, one would think, lousy quality, would have it, just a couple days before the return window closed, the entire hub, all 7 ports, self-terminated becoming inoperable. Figuring it was just a connection or cord problem that simply needed a tightened connection or simple attention, a few days passed before i expended probably two hours troubleshooting the hub only to learn that it is un-usable. a piece of time-draining junk, and, by a single day, aged just beyond the final calendar date permissible for its return. It is either a piece of absolute junk, or I was the unfortunate recipient of a perfect rendition of a classic factory issued lemon.
