Are they big enough to fit a plug through?

No you wouldn’t be able to fit a plug through, I use it as a cable tidy, it really works well

Do you get 1 plate upon purchase or 2?

You get 1 plate, but when you purchase you have to select whether you want Black or White bristles.

Does it comes a pair of plates or just one?

It fits on a back box of the size for a double electrical socket. They also make ones the size for a single socket back box. It’s one piece of plastic with a slot in the centre with brushes in the slot where your cable comes through. I’ve used them for some speaker and video wiring where the wires run inside the wall.

How wide apart are the screws?

12cms centre to centre of the two screw holes, the plate’s dimension is the same as a standard double gang wall socket. Hope this is helpful
