this is a brillant film .on arrival the case was broken .luckily dvd was ok

The action sequences, though less frequent than before, are thrillingly choreographed and viscerally impactful. There's a refreshing sense of consequence each time McCall takes action – this Equalizer doesn't walk away unscathed.Thematically, "The Equalizer 3" treads familiar ground. The formula of McCall's methodical takedown of an evil organization remains largely intact. However, the focus shifts slightly to explore ideas of community and the burdens of McCall's chosen path. While not deeply philosophical, it adds a touch of bittersweet introspection.Dakota Fanning's appearance as a younger associate adds a potential legacy element, but it feels slightly underdeveloped. Still, she has potential if the franchise were ever to continue.Ultimately, The Equalizer 3 is a treat for fans of Denzel Washington and the franchise's signature brand of brutal justice. It's stylish, tense, and while less groundbreaking than the first film, delivers a satisfying conclusion to McCall's story.

If you've watched & enjoyed Equaliser I & II, then you'll enjoy Equaliser III. Denzel's performance is as always supremely watchable and as long as you buy into a man of his age still being able to fight as fast as he does you'll love it.The supporting cast, the locations and the pace of the film are all top draw. If you want a great night in this is the perfect DVD. Great value for money to boot.

It is a sequel to The Equalizer 2 and the third and final instalment of The Equalizer trilogy, which is loosely based on the television series of the same name. The film stars Denzel Washington, reprising his role as retired U.S. Marine and DIA officer Robert McCall, with Dakota Fanning, Eugenio Mastrandrea, David Denman, Gaia Scodellaro, and Remo Girone in supporting roles. In the film, McCall discovers that his new friends in a small town in South Italy are intimidated by members of the Camorra, and he sets out to free them from their control.Discussions over a third entry to the Equalizer franchise began following its second film release on August 2, 2018. The project was officially announced in January 2022. Filming began on October 10, 2022, on the Amalfi Coast in Italy and continued in the region until November 20, after which it moved to Naples in early December, before wrapping production by January 2023, in Rome. Robert Richardson serves as director of photography on the project, after previously working with Fuqua on Emancipation (2022).The Equalizer 3 was released in the United States on September 1, 2023, by Sony Pictures Releasing. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and has grossed $190 million worldwide against a $70 million budget, becoming a commercial success like its previous two predecessors.A highlight of a trilogy series and a good end too if that is the way the studio chooses, was griped from the start and much improvement from the second film which for me was a bit weak

PLOT...Robert McCall finds himself at home in Southern Italy but he discovers his friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends' protector by taking on the mafia.Denzel is back playing the cool assassin that helps people in need, and third times a charm, a brilliant movie that has a great story full of action and emotion and heart, this certainly feels like a great way to leave the series with Robert McCall finally having a moment where he's caught off guard for a second and has to re-evaluate his life and maybe settle down from his line of work, after one last mission of course! The movie opens with a dark and gritty and very violent scene, slows down a little after to build some story then ends with more bloodshed! Amazing action, plenty cool moves from Denzel as he despatches his enemies one by one, all the scenes are played out with some awesome music score to make Denzel look even more cool, this is a great finale to a brilliant series of movies, great actors, great director and good characters and stories, don't miss it.Blu-ray has a decent picture quality.Features include deleted scenes and some featurettes (51mins total)Region B UK. Anyone who is a fan of the new equaliser series of films will know what I mean.Good film series but, needs to end with this one
