its a better colour than pictured, the sloping heel joint is better because you have better access to the higher frets and it plays really well. It's well worth the money.

Hi is the finish on the guitar the same as the first photo or the 2nd and 3rd photos as them ones look a bit different than the first in finish

Mine resembles the 2nd picture. I've previously owned a Gibson Les Paul and this Vintage guitar is great and lovely to play and stable tuning, it just doesn't have the price tag of a Gibson. I'm really pleased with my Vintage guitar. Hope this helps.

Does the guitar really weigh 5 stone? 34 kg?

It feels really light. I'd guess 5 pounds maximum weight. Great guitar. Light, comfortable, but lots of sustain.As an update I just weighed it and it's exactly 8lbs.

Is it possible to fit a les paul scratch plate on this guitar? Also what strings does this come with ?

hello.Yes fitting a scratch plate to this guitar is possible and something you can do yourself and parts are easily available. You would need the scratch plate + bracket + 2 very small phillips screws (which should all come with the scratch plate but check, ebay has some nice ones that will match up with this guitar)if your not sure you want to do it yourself a guitar luthier at your local shop would not charge you much to fit it for you.Hope this helps.Richie,
