Cats say don't bother getting another size or shape
Have tried many shapes and sizes. Cats rate this a ten and also use it for a bed after ripping it all up.

Cat Loves this Scratcher
My cat loves this scratcher. I've tried lots of others, she prefers this one.Design is just right for scratching, she gets on top of it, therefore weighting it down, and happily scratches away.No assembly required, just set it down in a favorite spot or near furniture that is being scratched.I found this super functional for my dear kitty. I've bought a few and will continue to buy exactly this one from nowon.

Ends need to be secured
It's corrugated cardboard and my cats like that, but with this one, I had to use transparent shipping tape, to tape up the ends, because it came apart after my cat slept in it. The ends of the box are just tabs that fold into itself; I had to tape these ends, so the box would not unfold again.
